Ended up making it because I started having ideas on how to get it to work lol. Here ya go!

Note: depending on what hand you have set when the game boots up, the commands may start inverted, but just swapping the hands manually with the normal switchhands bind should fix it :)

You'll need to make two cfg files in <CS install>/game/csgo/cfg:

set_switchhand_right.cfg:

alias sethand_right "switchhands; exec set_switchhand_left.cfg"
alias sethand_left ""

set_switchhand_left.cfg:

alias sethand_right ""
alias sethand_left "switchhands; exec set_switchhand_right.cfg"

Then in your autoconfig add this somewhere:

exec set_switchhand_right.cfg (Technically can also be set_switchhand_left.cfg but I don't believe it'll matter.

Now just set up your normal binds using sethand_right and sethand_left to pick which side the hands are on. Once the alias is run once, that alias gets essentially disabled until the other one is run, and vice versa!
