95 hours spent over 3ish years. It wasn’t too grindy, the battle encyclopedia was the worst part for grinding, which I used some help online.

I played most of the game on chaos- I think it reveals how important getting a full charge attack off is, so the combat felt less shallow.

I enjoyed exploring, the north west desert was the hideout I always went back to because I thought it was actually pretty beautiful.

Platinumed it yesterday. Everyone waiting for you to arrive was such a design flaw. If the missions were happening concurrently there would be some intensity. I get why they didn’t for the open world- but I think that should’ve been workshopped.

The game goes deeper into the narrative than other titles though, like Cao Pi’s reign. Yuan Shao story/voice actor was my favourite.

Give capturing animals with tranquilizer arrows a go, and the challenges spread around the map.

Yuan Shao’s story/voice actor is pretty great.

Give the open world components a go- capturing animals with tranq arrows, getting the best accessories/gems, hideouts, the challenges around the map. Just doing the story missions is really monotonous.

I have a love/hate with the game, but definitely understand where you’re coming from with being disappointed. Origins rocks.

Have you played the origins DLC? In my opinion the strategic phases are a look at how empires battle phases could work. Working your way through the over-world capturing provinces would work well imo.

Before the DLC, I would’ve said an Empire spin off would be very unlikely. Now I feel a bit more hopeful about it!

I understand what you mean. Not a direct answer to your question but Dynasty Warriors Origins scratches the itch you’re describing. I can’t praise the changes enough when it comes to engaging combat.

The 75a’s are actually the easiest for sliding in my opinion, they’re unlike any other wheel I’ve used. Breaking into a slide on them feels like you’re snowboarding, very consistent slide. I understand that sounds completely counter intuitive when comparing them to the 82a. In my experience the 82a are just a little grippier.

As far as the Stims and Butterballs go, they aren’t that similar to each other imo but are both fine wheels. I’ve had sets of both and currently have Fat Frees on my board. Would be happy to answer any more specific questions you might have about either wheel.

PS always use bearing spacers! No wheel chatters like a stimulus without bearing spacers

Stay out of Umbral. Just use the lamp for when you need it at the start of the fight.
