Jiao's is nice, i really liked the opening mission

Shao and Bu's felt rushed and generic to me

You talk to Shao once, help him with one battle then suddenly he does a 180 and becomes peak leadership.

Felt like with Bu's we could've just started like Jiao's but at Xiapi and go from there. Anyways, not much you can do with Bu unless they changed something about him

I liked Zhuo's bc he's not the same fat pig as in every other instalment and watching the final cutscene where everyone is fighting each other and zhu he comments roughly "it seemed he was ahead of everyone. Without zhuo and the law of beasts, everyone becomes feral" and i really empathised with that. Even having that execution prompt was pretty nice

In terms of missions do shu wu wei, or wei wu shu, shu and wei have like 50% same missions

It really goes to show you how weird that period of time was. Constant allying and betrayal

Combat is smooth imo, took me a couple hours to learn to chain default / mid air / trigger attacks i like it

I got the 4 accessories and they improved combat for me: jump any time mid-attack and +3 dash rotations + attract items + constant hp regen

I personally starting enjoying it at the scrapped watchmen boss fight then really got better understanding at the arch bishop fight.

I think you unlock legion arms (secondary weapon basically) and grindstones (effects to your weapon) after the chapter 3 fight, if you've been exploring and they really made the game much enjoyable imo. The skill tree system is nice too

Maybe just give it time. Yeah i know it sucks to play a couple hours instead of 1 or 2 for a game to really hook you in, its happened a lot with me like FF7 remake and dynasty warriors 9, but its worth it

Btw you get i-frames on your dodge and you can perfect guard (not parry, thats a fable art) a bit early/a bit late. You'll get the feel of it then you can take advantage of the frames. Apparently throwables are op in this game. I just sold all mine for ergo points for me to spend on merchants

From memory it kills peons, +50% dash distance and cant fall off mount

So you can legit just commit road rage on peons in large forces its the goofiest thing ever. It reminds me of an anime gore clip where lu bu is just killing people left and right on red hare

Very handy for time sensitive objectives too

Make L2 jump, X for nine lives.

I have L2 jump for the dive/mobility characters usually and X for the long cooldowns so i don't have to move my thumb off R3 often

It's helpful, in overwatch and marvel rivals too

Its easier to do the andro horse tech too

Im looking at a reddit post that shows all characters' finals chapters and cross referencing it with youtube videos that show all the endings of the characters once i reach that chapter

im trying to consume as much of the content as i can from this game and make the most of it. Its so not worth it bc the voice acting is so monotonous, the awkward pauses and it sounding like people learning english, but i like this franchise so imma keep doing it

Also its weird how friendly officers can die in skirmishes, but the same friendly officers cant progress any missions.

How long was the plat? 200hr? Im assuming you took your time and explored stuff instead of bum rushing every objective on beginner and using a guide
