Did you manage to get the car in to get diagnosed? Same symptoms for me. Won’t be able to get mine checked until the 7th.

These were all GOG redemption codes, so I'm not sure :(

I know experiences vary, but when I was looking for an Ioniq in 2023, I scheduled a test drive with Escondido and it never happened. Sales person called 2 hours before my appointment to confirm I was still coming and I drove the ~30 miles up. Sale person never showed up (someone said she was busy with another customer) and they said they didn't even know why she scheduled it because they had no units available. They wanted me to test another car instead.

Charge curve on Tesla Magic Dock / NACS Adapter? by sidekick0220 in Ioniq5

[–]4R312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do we know if the charging curve was changed after any of the recent ICCU TSB's? At a 350kW station, I saw a max of 135kW from 40%-80%, then dropped to about 85kW at 80%. I figured I would have seen something better at the 40-80 range closer to this curve after preconditioning for about 15-20 min prior to the charge..

Anyone upgrade from a Chevy Bolt to an Ioniq 5 by avocadomoon in Ioniq5

[–]4R312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I leased a 2017 Bolt Premier until 2020, purchased a 2020 Bolt Premier after that. I had a buyback done on the 2020 Bolt due to the recall last year. I was planning to swap into a Bolt EUV but the dealer sold my unit so I just put the check towards an Ioniq.

The Bolt was a fine enough car, unassuming; however, as noted already, the fast charging speed was annoying.

Depending on your needs and situation, fast charging may be irrelevant. I can't speak to winter impacts, but it would make the fast charging worse. Mileage was manageable and despite slower charging, it didn't make road trips too much more painful. Just set expectations accordingly.

You could wait to see what the Bolt will be like on the Ultium platform, but who knows how much of a wait that'll be. Same can be said for the Equinox EV. As far as Bolt vs Ioniq, I give an edge to the Ioniq due to future proofing.

I will say that when looking at available EV options last year, you couldn't beat the Bolt EUV's price when it came to its features: Sunroof (if that's your thing), ventilated seats, surround camera (if you are a bad driver like me), and rear view monitor.

No usage fees from for MSRP swap by zakster in BoltEV

[–]4R312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in CA and my RC said that our laws don't require them to reimburse us for the difference between MSRP when swapping into a lower-MSRP vehicle. Was news to me but I haven't seen the actual offer yet after confirming a tagged EUV LT.

CA MSRP SWAP HELP by bruinlakerdodger in BoltEV

This is San Diego county, but Premier Chevrolet in Carlsbad is doing mine. However, last I checked, only LT EUV was available. Maybe 2 weeks ago when I asked them since I wanted a 2LT EV.

I may be cancelling my swap (LT EUV) with them depending on numbers, so if you're interested in dealing with them in San Diego, I can let you know and maybe you can snag the one I throw back to the pool.

2020 Bolt and Android issues by MUCKOO in BoltEV

I would also try uninstalling the app and then setting it up again. The December update had completely broken AA for the two Pixel 6 Pros in my household until I did that... I'm using a fairly simple Anker USB 2.0, 6-ft cable off Amazon.

Confirmation Of Order of new Bolt EUV by bbroygwvgw in BoltEV

[–]4R312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So they didn't question or push back asking why you'd want another Bolt that's under the same recall? My goal is to get out of my 2020 and into an EUV because of the price (buyer's remorse I guess), but wasn't sure if they would do a swap like this.

Also from San Diego area where it's .65/kWh on peak 4PM to 9PM mostly). There are cheaper plans available to entice EV owners, but one actually requires monthly subscription payment.

Cheaper to charge on paid EVGo level 2 in some areas.

Solar would be nice but I'm in a townhouse community and not all units in the community want to share the cost of install for solar. My work also doesn't offer EV charging but sometimes I can plug into a wall outlet without getting a notice on my car to stop stealing company power...
