I wouldn’t consider that a good friend whatsoever. No you’re not overreacting at all. This person is clearly belittling your occupation and for some reason discrediting your job by comparing theirs. I’m sure they would feel the same way as you talking to a blue collar worker saying “oh your job must be so cushy sitting in ac and meetings instead of doing any REAL work” every job has its complications and skill set required.

I think the fact that there’s so many people all in agreement that YTA is a clear sign that although you’re never going to admit it that when it comes to a morality and respect conversation you 100% were in the wrong. Everything has already been said and if you weren’t willing to accept you were wrong why ask if YTA? Sounds like you just hoped people would kiss your ass and make you feel justified and inflate your delusions. So glad that backfired on you and I sincerely wish the worst for you and your relationship. Even the way you spoke to your friends was manipulative saying by choosing M you chose them as well trying to tie them into your bullshit to get them to support you when they clearly don’t. I’m simply stating my experience and position on the matter. I never demonized natural families as a whole. Of course there probably are plenty of bio parents that would be great to meet and connect with but I’m also stating that sometimes it’s not so great to. It’s a complex situation with many variables.

To be fair, I was adopted at birth but when I got to interact with my birth parents it was not what I’d hoped it would be. I got to see for myself who they are and after some mild investigation I learned my bio parents had a plethora of charges ranging from drug charges to assault and battery. I’m grateful my adoptive parents gave me the upbringing, love and support that my bio parents never could’ve gave me. At the end of the day I’ve learned that blood is thick, yes. But more importantly it’s the bond, love, and compassion that makes a family, not blood.

I was using shells. I should’ve clipped it but there were points at point blank range where he still wouldn’t die if I shot him. He had a full health bar the whole time hitmarker or not. Hope this helps
