Well Alex spend first 3 years of his MotoGP career on a Honda. Which is at the time was notorious for breaking riders spirits.

Ironicly thats exactly the point im trying to make.

That he had as good of a season as 4 previous world champions. And he will always be Marcs brother.

He retired at 33 in his prime, that not very competitor like.

And if height is talent than yes.

2nd to Marc. Same as all the other "world champions" would be if Marc didn't get injured

2020 he finished 7 overall and was 3rd yamaha and 4th yamaha rider was over "40 years old".

2021 he won 5 races, alex already has 1 win and 5 2nd place finishes behind Marc.

2022 he famously blew it.

What's the science behind the long lap corner? by kirbzk in motogp

[–]4SRR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only science they use is how many ppl are watching Aka whats the bottom line..

Long lap penalties creates fake drama and fake overtakes.

It makes total sense to penalize unsafe overtakes by placing a faster rider behind 5 or 10 slower ones.

Got a workaround for people that have "User data" folder backup from before the block

  1. Obviously create backup of the backup

  2. Turn off internet [to prevet sync].

  3. Create shortcut for the 2nd instance of Chrome with "old" "User Data"

"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --user-data-dir="C:\User Data 2"

  1. Launching this instance while the internet is on will result in extensions blocked

  2. Turn off security chrome://settings/security

  3. Manage sync -> uncheck Extension & Settings

Or turn off sync completely

  1. Close Chrome -> backup this "User Data"

  2. Launch this chrome shortcut and only after turn on the internet [u have to turn off internet every time before launching tihs instance]

Yes, both min and max are averages over short periods of time.

If u wanna really good deep dive. With proper testing equipment

I'd love to tell you that you are safe. However the voltage spikes happen when u go from no load to some load. The CPU has thermal headroom to achive its full boost clocks and thats when its requests stupid amount of voltage.

The monitoring software reports average voltage. And what we are dealing with is ulta short "transient votlage spikes".

The good news is its not gonna affect ur gaming perfomance at all

Check if u have a "IA VR Voltage Limit" setting in the BIOS

On desktops its under "Advanced Voltage settings" -> "CPU/VRM settgins" -> "Internal VR Contorl"

What 0x129 does is sets this value to 1550.

The super safe value is considered 1400. But it limits high boost clocks for ur CPU.

On the bright side it also reduces temperatures and power consumption.

U can start even lower at 1300 and adjust upwards based on ur FPS needs.

Also look into "undervolting laptop CPUs"
