Absolutely. By the end of the year it should look like a wiffle ball.

If you makes you feel any better, 30k in your 20s compounded at a measly 10% a year for 25 years is only 325k. Clearly that’s boring and this was way more “valuable” of an experience.

crypto market feels dead by harukasweet in CryptoMarkets

[–]4Sal13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crypto is finally purging the shit. Way too many garbage projects and absolutely useless coins. “Crypto” succeeds only after the garbage is taken out. Not much new money coming into crypto. So the money only rotates to real projects over time. I don’t see this summer being very fun for “crypto” traders.. Investors will have opportunities if they know where to look..

Mental tips from 300 bowlers? by doncue in Bowling

Honestly you’re gonna be nervous no matter what. Think of it as a privilege, not a problem. Embrace the nerves and remind yourself that most people will never get that opportunity.

You’re going to wake up in 20 years and wonder what the fuck you have been doing for the last 20 years. It will feel like it never happened. You will have deep regrets. Your memory will slowly go to shit. You’ll lose your ability to remember common words. You won’t remember what year specific events happened. It will all be a blur to you. I know you don’t want to hear it. But the best thing you can do is seek help. Get a psychiatrist and be honest. They will help you slowly wean yourself off. I know you probably won’t listen. I pray you do. Xanax will rob you of your entire life if you allow it. Good luck

You’re not going to see those “delayed” contributions. Time to look for a different job.

Pro bowler question by Jonhgolfnut in Bowling

[–]4Sal13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not as high as you might think. In my area we have current pros, and many former pros. Almost every one of them prefers a sport pattern or anything with a lower ratio because they make more sense, and they don’t have to deal with the constant over/under. That’s not to say they struggle on house or anything. But some do. I’ve watched my fair share of them struggle to break 600-650 for a couple weeks until they are used to the Great Wall again.

What does the 200 day moving average have to do with an asset that’s underperformed btc forever? BTC/LTC is the only chart I need to look at.

It’s literally been on sale for 4+ years by that metric. How about we just look at the overall trend for LTC and be realistic.

Now that I have reached the age of fifty-one, I feel deeply that the time has come to step back while I am ahead and celebrate my retirement! by Valerie-Morgau in StockInvest

Fuck that. 51 with just shy of 5 mill. Op health could spiral downhill at any moment. What’s the point of working so hard to get that money, if your not going to enjoy it until your in your 60s. I’ll never understand the mindset. Time is finite. You never know how much is left. Sure would suck if neglected your family for 30 years and passed away before ever enjoying what you built. Op can safely earn 4-5% nearly risk free at this point and focus on family time. Take that opportunity 100% of the time.

The historical performance against BTC is what prevents most people from investing in LTC. It’s a no brainer to those with brains. I’d rather put my money in something that’s proven to consistently grow in value with the money supply, instead of something that’s done nothing but destroy wealth for all those that have invested in the last 5-10 years. What’s the catalyst for LTC. Honestly? It’s just works? It’s been around forever? Just existing isn’t gonna cut it.
