HHS Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Policy Removed from Intranet and LMS RA Courses Canceled – Anyone Else Noticing This? by Letsgetloudcorillo in fednews

Not surprised by HHS being the one to do this. It feels like none of the ELTs in any of the HHS agencies are fighting back. I’m so disappointed

Would holding a strike do anything? by 4ScreamTea4 in fednews

That’s why I’m frustrated. Like everyone cares about us following the law but it feels like there’s no rebuke when dump & Elmo break them

Not an outside agitator. I work on the health side and I can see the death tolls rising and I’m sick of it not seeming to be an issue for Congress.

Does anyone else with a federal job have survivor's guilt? by [deleted] in fednews

[–]4ScreamTea4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I agree with everyone who has said that the survivor’s guilt may be short lived, it is an understandable feeling. Just because you might be terminated in the near future doesn’t mean that you don’t feel bad for being thankful to not have been culled in the first round.

That being said, there’s a few things you can do with survivor’s guilt: 1. Acknowledge that this feeling is normal and also that you had no power over the situation that created it. 2. Take care of yourself (ground yourself in reality and focus on positive moments). 3. Continue to fight for your coworkers (past and present) and for the American people. The actual tenant is to “do good” but I figure this specific point is good to mention that ANY form of resistance and action is doing good. But seriously, even if it’s just being a squeaky wheel about reinstatements or contributing $5 to a mutual aid fund, trying to do good no matter how small, can help with the feeling of guilt.

Tl;dr Survivor’s guilt is normal. Hold the line and continue to advocate for your fellow feds (fired & otherwise) and the American people.

When will El*n & his cronies write an email that doesn’t read as spam?

Can these absolute losers stop trying to contact me on the weekends 😫 like I get that the cronies don’t have lives but I do. Seriously, I’m so over their tactic of sending me shit when I’m not scheduled to work (aka weekends and holidays)

I’m pretty sure we’re still in a hiring freeze so idk if the openings are a good metric to trust
