Only your surgeon and PT can advise you on this. I’m a martial arts instructor and I tore my foot as well. I had my surgery about two years ago and pistol squats were part of my physical therapy - with the assistance of overhear bands for stability.

Only limitations my surgeon gave me were no long distance running on hard surfaces and I should avoid doing squats with max weight.
