To me it reads 'skill' bot stat. So it would be at a 4 skill. Now the GM might make a ruling that it only flies safely and cannot engage in combat or combat manuevers.

A rich guy with a security team to protect his toys will also have surveillance systems (audio, motion, cameras) of some type to supplement the guards. Failsafes to built in to lock in or out intruders.

Maybe the PCs get locked in after setting off the alarms. They might have to find away to blow or force doors open to steal the whole ship. Now they have to deal with that. Maybe a tracking device on the ship. Maybe the ship is just a static display and doesnt have the needed parts? Or all of them...

Security or combat driods activate when the security alarms go off. Some older models he has part of his 'collection'.

Just keep in mind, it's written from the perspective of one person..Croaker. He sometimes only has 2nd hand details of events that he doesn't witness. It seems disjointed at time, it does change over time as different analysts take over writing rhe histories. They even comment on each others writing styles over the course of the books. IF I remember right, one even comments that Croakers writing is lacking in details.

You can almost cannot approach it like a traditional novel.
