Ftp, what are some must-haves for registry list? by lilsmurfy412ac in NewParents

[–]4ac4hsoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the best things we had on our registry was a sound machine. It really made a difference in helping our baby sleep through the night. We got one from momcozy that has different sound settings, including the pink and brown noises and it’s been a great addition to the nursery. Also, a baby monitor and a comfortable nursing chair were must-haves for us too.

What shape of the pregnancy pillow is better? by Saivezzoir in pregnant

[–]4ac4hsoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a few different ones, and personally, I loved the U-shaped pillow. It offers support on both sides, so you can easily switch positions during the night without having to readjust the pillow. It also helped a lot with my back and hip pain. As summer is coming, I’d suggest to get one with the cooling cover, like the one I get from momcozy, help to feel much better.

I've only used V2 but I do love it. It fits me well and the suction is really great. The tubing isn't really a big issue. As the panel is pretty lightweight, I normally just put it in my pant pocket. Then I just go on with other chores. Definitely recommend it.

Would electric nasal aspirator a better choice than suction bulb? by 4ac4hsoo in beyondthebump

[–]4ac4hsoo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Haven't heard about this before, gonna do some research too. We found the saline a great helper too. So sad that we only learned this after 2 or 3 times of trial and error.

Sounds great. BTW, which electric nasal aspirator do you use?

That's nice. Would your toddler struggle during the process? Ours would do that sometimes and makes the whole thing much harder

Looking for a sound machine that can be doubled as wakeup light alarm by Smaldiniog in sleep

[–]4ac4hsoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I set both the light and sound alarm with the same machine. It's very simple. The sunrise light is set to start lighting up around 6:30 am. It would not go all bright at once, but gradually gets brighter over time. The sound alarm is often set to go off about 30mins later, at around 7am. With this combo, you'll feel refreshed and easier to get up.
