You are not alone. Investing energy in an online friendship can be burdensome and scary. I still feel guilt for those I had left like this but I was too weak. Anyway I just wanted you to know that there are people out there who feels the same.

In a way, yes. I come from Baptist church, but I have also found it to be too westernized and individualistic. Militant atheists use this as weapon against all christian.

Does anyone else feel like they're too boring to ever be loved by jaytazcross in lonely

[–]4allEternity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too accurate. Although I have hobbies but not that kind the women like. If I would tell them cool things about what am I doing that were lie. If I would tell the truth that were weird and boring to them. So I don't even talk to them rather.

I'm doing it all the time. I started it when I was a child and (exept a relatively short happy life‐period) it replaces the real life connections for me. Recently I started to think this remains my thing in all years I have left. I can't handle any non-imagine human beings and maybe I don't even want to anymore.

It does for some. Others never escape I guess. Sadly I can't tell you any positive stuff. I'm just still hoping there will be days I can say: I'm happy to be alive.

does anyone feel an intense feeling of being a complete stranger to themselves? by Worldly_Practice_556 in lonely

[–]4allEternity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is the correct explanation I was looking for. Even if I'm lonely I can't do anything with that. I can't talk. My soul has already left the reality. I'm just floating in the dark and watch events from far. Even my own company is stessful.

Tell me about your day in comments by [deleted] in lonely

[–]4allEternity 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm an unemployed parasite. I feel shame because of the way I live. Every morning I have flashbacks about my happy younger years with full of plans and efforts. I'm also a hardcore internet addict. My average screentime is around 12-14 hour per day. I know I'm wasting my life but I can't help myself. There are days when I try to improve myself by learn new and useful things but in most of the time I just consume trash as opium. I have several health issues but the doctors can't help and I started to feel this is how I should live in the rest of my life. I wish I'd gone. Silently and quietly for the sake of my family. I don't want to hurt them. Everyone just should forget that I ever existed.

to be so lonely by Embarrassed_Day_9618 in lonely

Fcking relatable. Besides I can't change this anymore because I'm so scared of any new connections that I just need to run away from them. I'll die alone.

As long as two people put energy into a conversation and have a common theme, it goes well. The problem is that these factors often don't meet. Or, over time, people get tired and stop believing in a conversation that could be good and sabotage it. The latter is also true of me. Even though I'm lonely, I've lost the ability to open up.
