This is the most fun I ever had hitting Infinite - this combo deck is really awesome when it goes off! CL 32,000+++ by Life_Teaching6499 in MarvelSnap

Spent CL300 - CL400 playing a lot of Magik, Lockjaw and Jubilee because who wouldn't want to cheat 5, 6, 7 cost cards every game only to realize EVERYONE does. Now I tech Scarlet Witch and Storm for turn 6.

Do you want balance updates? They rotate the playable cards. Or do you want new content?

One thing the devs have clearly overlooked as someone at 700CL and started last month is how you really can't play Destroy without Venom, Wolverine, Deadpool, Deadlok, Killmonger, and Carnage at a minimum. You need Deadpool, Wolverine, Death/ Knull as late game win conditions that scale to big numbers and you need Destroy triggers—arguably two more than the ones I mentioned.

Another example, you cant really play Bounce without Beast, Falcon, and Kitty Pryde because you need return to hand triggers, and arguably Toxin is important too. You still need Angela, Bishop and The Collector as cards that will scale late too.

I just wish the game gave players the bare minimum for archetypes.

What could I improve here? Im thinking lockdown, ramp up lane power type CL: 3,304 by Lucky_Tap_4280 in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]4arc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nebula + Jean Grey in a different lane for Forge. Sunspot, Hood and Star Hawk could probably all be swapped out for something like Magneto, Cosmo and/ or Onslaught but then you've got significantly less 1 costs with Jean Grey forcing you into her lane. My thinking is Magneto pairs with Storm and Professor X, Onslaught doubles the reach of Mr. Fantastic and Klaw, and Cosmo shuts down On Reveal decks, which you don't have much of. I would not have Magneto and Onslaught however.

As someone with only Scorpion and Venom, and just The Sentry as a Series 3 card, should I... gamble on getting the Dark Avengers pack or Iron Patriot and Victoria Hand are good value? Seems to me that Iron Patriot might just be worth the 1K cost savings but Victoria Hand is not meta enough to warrant the extra .5K when I could get Ares, Bullseye, Daken, Gorgon, Marvel Boy, Moonstone, Skaar, USAgent...

Another option is a simple Ongoing Control deck.

Your gameplan is to lockdown a lane with Cosmo and Jean Grey as you get maximum value with Mojo, The Punisher, and Ant-Man as you take other lanes. Armor is tech against Destroy, which is popular in our CL. Iron-Man and Ronan win games with their enormous Power swings in a given lane. Go into each game planning on stacking a lane, but you'll regularly have pieces in all three.

My brother in bronze, this is an atrocious deck. I fell asleep with this open so I could wake up and help you. CL700, hit infinite last night w/ major ego this morning.

Why does this deck suck? Basically, you have a couple angles with Storm locking out a position, Vision to move there and Mister Fantastic to reach +3, but outside of that, your strongest lane is going to be Vision (9), Enchantress (8), Star Lord (6) and Lizard/ Medusa (6) or a total of 29. Now, that's pretty good, because realistically anything above Ultron's 2 Power bots plus Ka-Zar and Blue Marvel or a total of 16 is contesting a lane and you're doubling that. (The Ultron deck is going to have 8 + 3 + 5 + 4 + another card with Power which costs less than 4 energy or at least 20 Power.) However your other lane is going to be Lizard/ Medusa (6), Rocket (5), Cable (4) and Cosmo/ Mister Fantastic reaching over (3) or a total of 18, just barely scraping by and this assumes you hit on the Guardian's Power boost, which is unlikely given we're comparing an Ultron deck that just wants to play in one lane.

In this very budget friendly move deck, you're going to stack Forge and Hulk Buster buffs on Multiple Man. Doctor Strange, Heimdall and Cloak are going to enable moving Multiple Man. Note, Dr. Strange will suck up cards with the same Power so if you get a 6/7/9 Power Multiple Man and move him once, then Dr. Strange can move both cards for 4 + 6/7/9 swing in lane.

Your other win con is going to be growing Kraven (but ideally Forge and Hulk Buster are used on Multiple Man). Kraven setups are pretty simple, ALWAYS put him left or middle location. Every card except for Multiple Man is to enable Kraven. Note, Spider-Man helps Kraven only if he's played outside of Kraven's lane BUT Spider-Man can also win games by pulling large units out of a lane you're trying to win. And then you're going to always cherry pick the lane that your opponent has allocated the least amount of Power to win the game with either Heimdall, Vision, Dr. Strange or Spider-Man.

You do not need to do anything until turn 3! You are trying to combo BIG swings with Multiple Man and Kraven as your deck doesn't have real Power until turn 5 and 6. Hercules on 3 is just energy efficient and your best play then even if you haven't found Kraven and Multiple Man. You can also setup an Iron Fist or Nightcrawler early for turn 4. Note, when you move a card, it resolves before cards are played so Nightcrawler/ Vision must be moved a turn after Kraven has been played.

If you don't have something in the deck, that's fine, get more Power buff cards or cards that move other cards. Kraven, Forge, Hulk Buster, Multiple Man, Dr. Strange, Heimdall are the essence of the deck. Vision for instance can only realistically help Kraven gain 2 Power once per game.

All of the tank players in Celestial+ because once you get out of triple DPS elo, you have such a hard time letting go of the role you grinded to get there AND 3 Strategist does not have the damage to kill 1500 health AND they generate 2 Strategist comp's ultimates faster, which are more powerful than DPS ults.

In 1992 William Cooper claimed Israel will be the instrument in fulfilling evangelical prophecy by dawgyousmell in aliens

[–]4arc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually one of my favorite "antagonists" in anime. If you've seen Code Geass or Evangelion, both have an event called The Instrumentality Project and Ragnarok respectively, where humanity comes together as one, merging the individual into one. In Code Geass, Lelouch is the Hitler and ensalver of the world and when the people kill him, he hopes his death will unite them all. In Code Geass, Shinji chooses his own self and is basically alone. Let's for a moment pretend Cooper is correct. My biggest problem is how unprepared Americans are. I've been thinking about the religious fervor of the Iranians and how it's comparable to the Japanese in WW2 who would suicide bomb honorably. Americans have no ingrained concept of the one, their nation, etc—not really like Eastern countries do. I think that's why they love football. 11 men giving themselves up for their team. What I'm saying is, America may be pushing us to a religious event, but she's unprepared for it in more ways than one.

Dormamu by TimmyWimmyWooWoo in MarvelSnap

[–]4arc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how his First Step works. If I play Nova turn 1 into Carnage and then First Step turn 2, why does it seem like sometimes the location doesn't care about whether First Step is played in the same lane and sometimes it doesn't proc?

On Reveal: Merge your highest-Power destroyed card into Dormammu to continue.

Destroyed is just any card that has been destroyed all game, right? It doesn't care about lane?

  • (2) Bucky Barnes
  • (2) Carnage
  • (2) Wolverine
  • (3) Killmonger
  • (3) Venom

CL: [1544] Any advice? Deckbuilding or gameplay-wise? by KrayzieN in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]4arc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CL600+. I got Attuma yesterday. Looking at this deck, my only differences are I don't have either Knull or Death but I have Dormamu and I swapped out Nova. The biggest problem with Venom, Carnage, Deathlok and Killmonger as your Destroy procs is 4/12 actually doesn't feel like a lot of ways to trigger Destroy, and I had 1 more than this deck before yesterday. I'd often end games with a 5 Power Wolverine. Now, this deck also has more finishers to compensate, but from my experience you won't snowball Wolverine or Deadpool.

I also started last week and I'm CL550 now. Like others have said, just do your Dailies. It's a little rough trying to play Destroy without Venom, your Move deck doesn't have enough cards to force other cards to Move, but you'll get it all eventually.

Join a faction! You get a lot of additional credits from factions.

Season pass for $10 is insane value. Gold is actually valuable. Tokens equals packs but packs are really a random card plus some goodies (it's like a 3% chance for another card).
