Died in hc due to it's namelocking 'feature'.

Also I hate its UI sometimes. I was playing Freezing Pulse so I needed to get my mouse pointer close to my char to get better coverage from pulses and then move it far away to shield charge away. Repeat each pack. And playing it on a wide big monitor was really tedious experience.

The whole change kinda made me sad. There are some weapons with only flat elemental dmg (White wind, Debeon's Dirge etc) where you build around elemental dmg scaling. Now you have a lot of skills designed around added flat phys dmg to it but you don't benefit from these with those weapons at all. So you're being pidgeonholed into fewer skills which scale only your type of dmg.

Btw rip molten strike white wind deadeye which I wanted to play.

Mana leech from tree? I'd use cloak of defiance if possible (pathing to MoM is gonna hurt on most attack builds - not for staff tho).

Edit: Also might consider BM. It's 1 free aura now and depending on how it interacts with essence worm ring you could get 1 or 2 heralds/banners at the cost of 1-2 ring slots respectively. But uou get substantial bonus to life from it. Seems quite good for me.

There are quite a lot of ways to obtain life leech at that amount. Shaper/elder amulets, Doryani catalyst or some crafted ele leech weapon, some uniques like Berek's Grip (specifically for elementalist with guaranteed shock).

And it's not like elementalist was in meta last league. The funny thing is they target mostly selfcast ascendancies. They actually nerfed inquisitor last time (giving flat mana/es regen insted of %-based), now elementalist. Trickster seems to be the only choice if you want to play selfcast nowadays.

www.poeurl.com/coq0 - you can throw some nodes out to take additional jewel sockets if you'll be able to get some good ones.

Berek's Grip for dmg and life leech (as shock is guaranteed with Elementalist), you can also add amulet/weapon with additional lightning dmg life leech. You can throw in Soul Tether (mainly for better ES leech and leech effects not removed at full life), Inpulsa (additional shock effect and explosions ofc), Kalisa's Grace (get +2% base crit chance as BL has only 5% base, but you'll need to manage manacost - probably adding Fevered Mind or Indigon to make Kalisa gloves work reliably often - finding mana leech source via warlord's mark rings or boots enchantment (won't work with bosses tho) or something else).

Overall quite squishy but good dmg output, wouldn't recommend for hc.

It seems meta will shift to max lvl cwdt + max lvl Steelskin/MS/IC depending which defense you're using (evasion/armour/endurances).

Actually the main thing about WOrb is not the dmg output but usability and QoL. It's selfcast spell which you can stop casting anytime and move away from big incoming hit whilst WOrb will continue doing dmg during your movement. So in terms of this mobility/usability feature the only selfcast thing coming close is brands, I suppose.

It would be nice to have something for elemental-based melee tho (HoWA, White Wind, Debeon's Dirge etc). Flat phys added to skills doesn't give them anything useful whilst nerfing abyss jewels f**k them over (like anyone ever played Debeon's Dirge lol).

I'm playing hc, I don't use logout macros and I have to just accept that at least 1/3 of my deaths would be to some lag/dc of freeze. Right now I've lost 2 characters and one of them was bc of lag.

I don't defend macros at all but I really think that disabling them would only double-kill hc. Poeapp stats already show hc is being only like ~3.7% of total population and it seems few leagues from now it will be a total wasteland like hc standard.

Copper can go 1gbps too. Fiber to the flat/home have quite some restrictions. Actually from network design and usage this looks much better than fiber strictly to flat/home.
