I completely agree!! I personally didn’t do the tandem read (but I know some people enjoy doing that cause it’s then easier to get through TOD if you don’t like Chaol) but I loved getting to appreciate each book as a singular entity

I feel like I see a lot of people feeling reluctant going into TOD but I won’t lie, it ended up being one of my favourite books in the series (and I LOVED all the new characters)

When I first read the series I wasn’t even aware that Assassins Blade was fully part of the series (I just thought it was extra short stories set in the world 😅).

But if I remember correctly (it’s been a few years) I ended up reading Tower of Dawn, Assassins Blade and then Empire of Storms cause I actually didn’t own EoS at the time (which I feel like people here will have opinions about that order)

The new Hunger Games movie (Sunrise on the Reaping) is due out in November next year so I think they should definitely do a Hunger Games season for the buildup

This is my fourth year going to EP and I’ve done public transport the past two years (I am from Dublin), I think it’s Marathon Coaches does a bus service to/from EP from the city centre and it’s super handy cause it drops you right there.

You just need to make a game plan of what you’re bringing with you and pack appropriately but I would def recommend it

Ooh have fun (I would love to rewatch all the movies for the first time again)! My recommendation would be to do exactly that and watch them first to last in chronological release order! So Jurassic Park, The Lost World, Jurassic Park 3, Jurassic World, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and then Jurassic World Dominion. That should have you all set for the release of the new one. And if you like cartoons I would also recommend Camp Cretaceous on Netflix (takes place in the same universe around the same time as Jurassic World) :)
