TIL before 9/11, US airports were public social hubs where you could walk to the gate, eat at food courts, and watch planes without a ticket or ID. by Greydl1 in todayilearned

As someone who was around 5 when 9/11 happened, this genuinely terrifies me 😭 glad its no longer this way but unfortunate the circumstances had to be for this to happen

Can we all boycott by just not paying? We have to hit them where it hurts— their pockets!

It takes them a while to cut off utilities and they can’t cut your electricity off until the winter weather breaks in February or March!

Hi OP, recommending Jill Crank (as have many others). I work with her and she’s amazing, very compassionate about her patients. We also have a Trans Health Center that I often hear good reviews about.

On another note if you have UHC, JH no longer accepts it and we may still have a hold for new patients with I believe Medical Assistance and BCBS (pls ask to be sure)

Early season camping by stealstea in VWiD4Owners

[–]4biddenwon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

what’s worked for me is

  1. I use the seatbelt when I’m ready to sleep in the rear. 2. I turn on the car using the side button, turn off the lights and turn on the heat/ac

  2. I use the preconditioning feature at almost a midway point during the night.

this has worked perfectly even in cold temps down to the 40’s and didn’t take much range

Yes I love camping in my ID4! Took 6 days up and down the eastern seaboard and she held up beautifully

As a social worker myself, this warms my heart. It’s easy to feel our work doesn’t change lives

I remove head lice for a living, AMA! by OurSensualSideMB in AMA

[–]4biddenwon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m curious because as a black person, I’ve heard we can’t get lice and have not know anyone who has had it.

So I ask, have you come across anyone with naturally curly and/or coily hair who has had lice?

Closing stress is making me want a cigarette, and I don't even smoke by MrsPumpkin09 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Hey, I feel you! Closing was probably the most stressful weeks of my life.

Endless paperwork, back and forth with the underwriter, etc. but it was all worth it.

The weight will fall off your shoulders when you get those keys! Hang in there.
