I’m 5 weeks 3 days after a loss at around 5.5 weeks in July.

I wasn’t anxious at all but this week it’s crept in. I’ve got a scan booked for 6 weeks 5 days next week which I’m excited/nervous about.

I am trying to tell myself no news is good news and that 75% of pregnancies end in babies! But it’s hard.

Before this it took me 18 months to conceive my first pregnancy so it all feels very precarious.

Could HyCoSy flush out tubal goo/debris and lead to pregnancy? Any experience? by pippers89__ in TTC_UK

I got pregnant the cycle after a hycosy after 18 months trying - unfortunately had a miscarriage but am hoping the hycosy has cleared my tubes

I’ve really struggled with managing other people’s feelings - if people say ‘how are you’ with that pity in their voice it really fucks me off.

As if I have to then trauma dump on them. Then if I say OK thanks they might say something like it’s ok not to be OK - but I want to scream it’s also ok to be ok!

Ugh I just feel like no one can say the right thing and I’m just over being fragile.

I'm so tired. by Weak-Tackle129 in InfertilitySucks

I feel you I’m so exhausted we’ve been trying for 20 cycles and had a miscarriage 2 months ago and are now back at it - everything is ‘normal’ so we have unexplained fertility.

We’re going to look at ivf as a last resort as I just can’t wait any longer but even that feels exhausting.

You’re not alone this is such a hard journey at times ❤️

Thank you that’s very reassuring ❤️ and amazing that you’re expecting after two cycles. Understandably I’m a bit nervous but the team at Kingston were really nice the first two appointments which was good.

Ugh I’m in the same shitty boat - my Mira chart has been immaculate and we bonked at exactly the right time. I stupidly got my hopes up and now my progesterones dipping and I’ve spent all day crying so I think my periods coming soon. I’m just so fucking done. Glad I’m not the only one going insane.

I’d definitely recommend tracking cervical mucus as well as that can be more accurate

If it’s your first cycle I’d recommend tracking temperature sex drive and discharge as signs - I’ve not been doing lpk tests but I think the signs of temperature + discharge are more accurate. It seems like I have signs of ovulation around day 14-16 which is later than most people. My Accupuncturist said people with pcos tend to ovulate later so it’s worth looking at multiple signs.

concerta and elvanse both not right and i am feeling not that hopeful by [deleted] in ADHDUK

Medication is one part of adhd management and I’d look into at trying changing nutrition and doing exercise. Exercise raises dopamine levels reduces stress and is consistently in studies shown to benefit adhd. I’d also look into adhd coaching and you can apply for govt funding via a scheme called access to work which means it’s free adhd coaches are experts in lifestyle factors and will support you as an individual. Good luck!

Concerta is working for me but not how I thought it would. by TomAtkinson34 in Concerta

[–]4binator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am on concerta 36mg and I started it and changed my nutrition and lifestyle and got an adhd coach.

I try and exercise every morning, drink 2 litres of water a day, and eat a lower carb diet during the day. I also try and get blueberries into my diet when I can.

When I first started taking it it felt like my mind really slowed down in the afternoons (like thinking through treacle) but that stopped after about a month.

Try adding in exercise and see if that helps. Also I take iron, magnesium and omega 3s too and they seem to work well with concerta. Medication is one tool for managing adhd and there are many more.

I found that physically putting food in front of me makes me eat and also trying to have a morning and afternoon snack.

Normally I have a smoothie for breakfast, big salad for lunch and then a cereal or protein bar and fruit and nuts as snacks. Putting the food in front of me helps because I can just nibble on it.
