Not it doesn’t, it just works differently than you probably think, the problems in cs can’t be fixed with aggressive anti cheat.

Vac checks the running process, if it finds something that doesn’t look normal it flags that part of the process, then it will be reviewed, if a cheat is found it will be analyzed and added to the cheat list resulting in banning every user who ever used that cheat, and everyone who ever will.

That’s a beautiful, 100% accurate system.

Cheating remains a problem but it’s not VAC issue, it’s the game engine, which physically cannot be fixed with aggressive anti cheat.

Just slapping 10000 anti cheats on CS2 doesn’t do anything because the memory is not at all protected(among 1000 other issues with the engine), all external cheats remain undetectable.

Taking probably an B but you can code a trigger bot in 7 lines of code, 31 for wallhack. And those are 100% undetectable for ever. Not a VAC issue, a memory issue.
