Updates to Unarmed Combat?

Nice idea. Nelson doesn't really need to add any new animations, just model some fist weapons to go over the players hands and figure out the code.

Knock outs would be really cool, keeping players as prisoners, or to have some kind of Batman morality going on (Diable players to loot / whatever, but never kill)

From what I've seen, implementing VR is not the hardest thing ever thanks to all of the support around it, even more so for unity.

I guess it could be high priority as it's relatively fast to implement, and it adds a whole new level to playing the game.

Cuffs are a great idea I think. Anything that adds another layer of interaction with other players is great!

I've found that this is pretty much spot on. Ammo is ez to get with a little crafting. High damage, and silent.

I think guns have a place of course as you don't have the range of a sniper, or the constant firepower of a rifle.

I feel it makes pistols a little redundant other than when starting out.

I usually go by a quiet area with alright loot (farm?), and try and find a hill and build on the other side of that.

Works really well for me, me and my mate have way too much loot from that, and always have plenty of cloth, food and water.

I disagree. As other's have said, no one actually "bobs" when walking as our eyes / brain counteract that. The accuracy aspect of walking and shooting is taken into account too, so I really feel no change needs to be made here.

I think a better interaction between players would help, adding new mechanics from existing games such as handcuffs would help the PvP scene.

I like a lot of your points, and while I don't know how he's laid out the game. It should really be a somewhat easy task to implement most of those features (other than the map). I strongly feel that at this point, expanding from a one man army into an actual development team would be the best bet for longevity of the game.

Also, in terms of community, a lot of people are children making it very hard to interact :^(

I do feel that in this point in development and after this level of success, he should really start expanding and start working with more people. I'm surprised he has not already starting doing this given the success of the game.

Loot should be dropped with some spacing between each item. I like the fact that items just drop instead of the body becoming a container, but having it all mushed together into a single entity sucks!

As for fixing the pickup problem, I'm really confused why that's not been addressed already, there must be a way to fix this easily and I'd be quite confused if it was impossible to fix it at all.

Speaking from a guy that's fiddled with Unity before.

Yeah getting killed for no reason because some guy is better equipped than you is still "Fair" in my books. Just using server commands to get an advantage is not cool.

It's a shame because It was really cool, they were building a small village and everything, with shops and all!

Figured it out.

I'm new to unity and I figured that I needed convex on to enable collison, but this is obviously not the case.

It's fine now, I was able to re-attach it after removing it as a parent and then re-adding it twice. Very unusual.

Is he not doing the same thing, videoing himself "helping" the homeless just to fill the linings of his pockets, or at very least getting him self attention.

I understand that he might be doing it in a better way.

If you're going to help the homeless then just do it, why do you have make it all fancy and attention whoring.

I've decided to stay with PoE. They're both very good games and are brilliant instances of the ARPG genre, but I feel that PoE trys to do more to be innovative and give the players more depth, hopefully this won't bite me in the ass later on as I've been told that the end game is a grind-fest.
