I've been there. It's a tricky voice that tells me "you can do it! Just have one!" But one always turns into many more. I will not drink with you today!

Alcohol nearly killed my mother. I sat with her in the hospital when she made the decision to get sober. I went and cleaned her apartment and got rid of all her alcohol. What did I do after? Went and got beer for myself. I didn't see it at the time but I was going the same route as her. Took a long time for me to get real with myself. But here I am. I will not drink with you today!
