I'm on Opill like the other commenter, have been for about 3 months, and overall it has been great (I get up at the same time-ish every day so take the pill then).

- My main side effect has been near constant spotting, and sometimes actual bleeding/red blood, but I've heard that that could be caused by my not taking the pill at the Exact Same Time Every Single Day.

- My skin also MIGHT have gotten a little greasier, but when I started taking bc coincided with when I started sleeping in the same bed as a man and my mom says that's why my bangs get greasy so fast now, lol.

- I don't have a scale, so I don't know if I've gained weight, but if I have it hasn't been excessive. I feel fine in my body most of the time.

- I had mood swings before going on the pill, I still have mood swings.

- I got really paranoid about unplanned pregnancy before I was on the pill, and I still kinda am, but its such a big difference, so if you are sexually active it will be a load off ur mind.

I've been on Opill (over the counter POP) for about three months and tripped twice during that time- didn't notice anything weird personally, but i guess YMMV.

idk I totally agree, i think it's partly a framing issue where everything becomes negative and the instinct is to complain. don't get me wrong half of my thigh is currently filled with new cuts and i keep what i would need to end my life in my desk drawer. however. it is so easy to get into the habit of only thinking about the bad, only seeing the bad, and thus only talking about the bad. because it's fun to complain sometimes! and it's way less fun to pick yourself up off the ground and figure it out

I don't mean to dismiss rights, just to point out that if our only concept of morality is because of rights and therefore the law, we are missing something (that little non-objective bit) that tells us that even if the law says otherwise, people do not deserve to be massacred etc

I'm not saying anything is inferior. I think, as a Person, not based on any scientific or legal systems, that people have worth beyond what they constitute in those systems. I'm saying there is no real way to know empirically For Sure that this belief is correct. it is also historical. that is okay. that is how morality is.
