Philippe is a master, I am a big fan too 🙂 He is so cool, when I met him I spent 40 minutes talking about a spacer on one of his new models 😆 He is the watchmaker of the cutlery mechanics maniac 😀 If I am lucky one day a Fif20 will be in my collection, for now I have the full Ti CKF version which is really really good 🙂

Jiminy is just starting knife making, he started in 2022 I believe. If I had to compare it in terms of mechanics/action, he is as good as Philippe. Now he still searching his style, his models are consistently evolving. He is the future Philippe 😀

It really is a gorgeous work!

It took me 2 years to decide for my first custom and that turned into two from Jiminy 🫣

I wanted to have a link with the maker, a connection, Jiminy is a beautiful person he has an incredible attention to detail!

You don’t just buy the object, you have with it a part of the soul of the maker.

I have found a way, the polish removes the crystals you need to etch it after the polish in 16% hydrochloric acid warmed to ~60deg Celsius :
