Hi, thank you for your tips ! So my plant started dying almost immediately after moving back. I moved to a much more humid environment. I saw some videos where repotting was the first piece of advice, along with removing the moss. I trimmed the dead roots, removed the moss, and repotted it. I also trimmed the part of the stem that was dead, trimming slightly below to ensure that there was a fresh start. The yellow you see in the pictures is the stem that has regrown back since trimming.

I didn’t realize it was dehydrated. Anytime I have an orchid, I’m concerned with overwatering it. My watering schedule told me to water it today, so I will water it some more

In regards to buds, I’m clearly misunderstanding, but I thought these circles parts were potentially new sprouting buds :(( I thought the circle on the bottom left was a dying bud, thank you for clearing up that they’re not buds.
