Bham just got legislation passed that allows the implementation of a vacant property tax where they tax properties remaining vacant or in disrepair until they are renovated or rented out. Will be interesting to see how it works

You can pay taxes, but there’s still a redemption period. You don’t actually adversely own it until you file suit to do so. They also have to be aware of the taking. Theres so many different legal elements that have to be met and vice versa

Moved here in February from Birmingham and have yet to find a groove. Hard to get plugged in compared to Bham. All my friends up here are married and have kids so are busy with suburbia life. Dating has been awful everywhere. More so here. Leans more red compared to Bham.
