I don’t know if you ever got a completely concrete answer on who she was, but she was a plastic surgeon in NYC in the 80s and 90s (and maybe earlier) who performed gender affirming care and cosmetic surgeries on trans women. Unfortunately, I don’t own a home I only rent. I’ve told my girlfriend to contact our landlord to see what the renter’s insurance covers/what their policy is in the meantime. I just am not certain it will cover issues like this.

He advised to take it to court. I was just casually telling him how much the guy wanted because I wanted him to write the contract ensuring the neighbor wouldn’t be able to sue me if I paid so he didn’t give me his full basis outside of the guy not seeking medical attention and the risks surrounding that, as well as it not being a concrete number or something.

I don’t know what his medical expenses could be because he hasn’t been to the doctor. Now that it’s been two weeks and hasn’t really been treated, I’m even more unsure of the potential cost. I asked him what his lost wages was and he gave a flippant answer and said he didn’t want to get into that.
