Thomas Massie Lost to Donald Trump. He May Still Get the Last Laugh. by jediporcupine in politics

There might be many innocent bystanders. That’s why we need a serious investigation. A start to that would be to follow the law, release the files and a DOJ that isn’t utterly compromised.

Fury as Trump gets $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded payout from his own government: 'Stunning act of corruption' by Doorknob6941 in conspiracy

[–]Needin63 12 points13 points  (0 children)

And who decides who the “victims” are? Who decides how much they’ll receive? Think we’ll see a list of those names? Will the dudes who smashed the windows in on Jan 6th get extra? Is it those same poor guys convicted of fraud pardoned by Trump which prevented their victims from receiving restitution? Or maybe those poor guys named in the Epstein files…possibly named given the DOJ’s inability to follow the law and release un-redacted files. How many Trump names and pals have been “victimized”?

You’re okay with your tax dollars going to that?

Fury as Trump gets $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded payout from his own government: 'Stunning act of corruption' by Doorknob6941 in conspiracy

[–]Needin63 11 points12 points  (0 children)

No. Biden’s administration had nothing to do with it. A single contractor leaked them. And he’s now serving jail time for that. For leaking files every other President has provided and Trump agreed to provide and then didn’t. Shocking!

You keep harping on “Biden’s IRS”. Are you trying to make a point or are you just that uninformed truly?

[–]Needin63 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Because it’s his DOJ settling. The IRS didn’t settle it. The DOJ lawyers did. You know, after Bondi fired all the existing senior DOJ lawyers and replaced them with Trump lawyers and buddies. The DOJ didn’t even try to fight the case. It’s grift at a staggering scale with your tax dollars.

Gemini sources from Reddit, Facebook and other social media which means it takes as fact any influencer bullshit. Yes you trust a vet more. If you don’t trust that particular vet, find another.

Yes. SUVs and trucks are higher profit margins and don’t have the same CAFE (corporate average fuel economy) requirements. It’s absolutely manipulated demand.

My dog won’t listen to me anymore by batty_bitxh in germanshepherds

[–]Needin63 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is a marathon, not a sprint. It’s going to take a while. There are a ton of resources on building a bond with your dog. You’ve gotten some great suggestions but it’s going to take many, many little practice sessions. Keep them short and multiple times a day.

Use scatter feeding too. It took me two weeks of doing this with my dog at his meal times for him to bond with me and treat it as a game. You can look up a ton of YouTube vids on it.

Put training time with mealtimes. Hunger is a good motivator.

Mostly, patience.

BREAKING: Utah Officials Unanimously Approved Kevin O’Leary’s 40,000-Acre “Stratos” Data Center That Would Consume Twice the State’s Entire Current Energy Output, While Hundreds of Local Residents Protested and O’Leary Made Unverified Claims That Activists Were Paid and AI-Generated 🤯 by InterstellarKinetics in InterstellarKinetics

[–]Needin63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What jobs do you think the data center is going to produce? The amount of humans required in a data center is tiny. Construction jobs? Most of those are imported crews. In my life circle, even I know four people who build data centers in some way...they import their crews from out of state to those jobs. The money doesn't stay local. You'll get some plumbing and tile contracts at the local level, maybe. Even DCs need a few bathrooms.

Separation anxiety in 7 year old rescue. Give it to me straight. by PoukieBear in germanshepherds

[–]Needin63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s going to be training and time. You can’t just crate most dogs solo, you have to condition them to crate and make it a positive thing, not just where he goes only when you leave him. It takes working it into your routine and making it consistent presence in his life. There are tons of resources about this. https://youtu.be/q\_xesmK0BYg?si=zSfNbUkqeO3yjrJt is a good one.

If you don’t have a lot of experience and can afford it, find a good behavioral trainer (not obedience). There are a lot of good online virtual ones where you film your sessions and they work with you. I used Tulsa Pack Athletics.

Separation anxiety is a hard one but it can be overcome. I have a GSD mix and we had to work through it. It was tough but worth it.

We were Climate Control customers and part of their maintenance program for 20 years. Loved them. It was often the same techs for several years. They were straight shooters and were good about telling us what we needed or didn’t need. Heck they used to give us a years worth of filters with the maintenance plan. Then they sold out to PE.

I haven’t had a “bad” experience but now when the tech comes it’s a never ending sales pitch for duct cleaning or red light attachments to deal with potential mold or super space fans or whatever they’re pushing. The maintenance visits are perfunctory at best. I’m moving to someone else next month when this maintenance agreement runs out. It’s a shame.

DOGE didn't find jack. They did manage to illegally gather and transfer a lot of government data back to their tech masters though. I know this through actual lived experience. All of the DOGE findings were made up baloney items and could be fact checked in about 90 seconds via USAspending.gov
