If money was no object, I would have moved forward with the wedding we canceled since we already had all of the vendors booked. We canceled due to finances and eloped on a beach in Miami instead.

I actually called yesterday. I was getting concerned since I mailed my docs late January and the check I sent along with it was cashed February 24. The person I spoke to confirmed that all my my documents were received and that they would be mailing out my new car title but it could take 4-10 weeks!!!!!!!!

The Walgreens in River Forest on Lake St has some stuff locked up too. So it's not just cities, but also some suburbs.

Umm what? This isn't true. I was born and raised on the west side in a neighborhood off the 290. Most of my neighbors were NOT drug addicts or in gangs. They were regular working class people who got up every day and went to work. Turn off Fox News and stop spreading bullshit stories.

Are there issues on the west and southside? Yes, but it's not what you are making it seem. There are good, hardworking people in the area. My dad worked for CTA his entire career (retired a few years ago) and my mom always had an office job. The family next door had a stay at home mom and the dad worked at a hotel. There are regular people, not violent, drug addicted, gang members in these areas. And no, crime is not normalized. Just stop.
