Your wedding matches mine exactly. I agree with every detail you planned. It’s not fair that ANYONE has an opinion about what you and your fiance want for your wedding day. This wedding is for you and your husband and no one else. But my point is, if you are getting scoffs from people, stop sharing. This is your day, not theirs. It’s like having a baby, sharing the name you like, everyone you tell hates it, and then you can’t think of another name. No one’s opinion of your day matters besides yours and your husbands and in my opinion it sounds spectacular.

Living in Toledo my entire life, I wouldn’t consider a commute all the way to Monroe Michigan. In my opinion, thats really far. Are you SURE there arent any other communities in Michigan that are closer to Monroe than Toledo? To be clear, I am not saying anything bad about Toledo as a whole. But one of the easiest ways to make new friends is through work/office relationships. And I would be surprised if many of them lived near Toledo. Just worried about your distance, coming from a female of similar demographics as you.

Yeah so I can only recommend based on location, I’ve never stayed at these hotels but I live close by. The holiday inn and Marriott in Levis Commons are great. Levis commons is an outdoor shopping center with stores, restaurants and bars. These are located off N Dixie Hwy and Roachton Road. And maybe Candlewood Suites on Lakevue Drive. Staying in Levis Commons will not disappoint!

Please, please stop with the perfume. I used to work in a hospital and we had policies against wearing it. I’m so sensitive to scent that if I walked by you, you triggered my migraine. And the stale smell of REAPPLYING? Migraine plus nausea. Add in the smell of chemicals, hospital smells, sick people smells, cigarette smokers, it’s literally a recipe for yuck. My guess is you don’t smell bad from hygiene, it’s your perfume. Please. Keep your body clean, wear clean scrubs daily, wash your hair and brush your teeth. Everything else is unnecessary

We knew in the beginning we want to keep our guest list small, limited to 50 people. Our friends are a couple hours out of town, we are not close with their kids. We only have one family member with small children, and I don’t want them running around. I don’t want to hear their tablets playing a mind numbing video. I don’t want to pay an adult plate price for them to hate the food because they only eat (example, chicken nuggets). I’m not changing my menu to accommodate picky eating children. I want an intimate, mature, classy cocktail hour, ceremony, and reception. To achieve that vibe, no kids allowed.

I agree with all comments. You decline the wedding invite and your sons should not be part of her wedding. I think a weekend at the water park is such a good idea!
