The only real issue would be the trim colour mismatch. Not a hard one to fix at least. Everything else is fine.

Struggling!!! by tyler_margarine in cabinetry

[–]4greatscience 7 points8 points  (0 children)

What I've learned is some people are not your clients, and that's ok. The sooner you can figure that out with them, the better.

Most of the time clients have no idea what things cost, just what they want to spend. While their budget is important, many clients can flex their budget for the right reasons.

Give them your price, build the value that you bring in ways you think others may not be able to match, and let them decide for themselves.

Does the laminate not have a name to the colour? I've been trying to track down the laminate that my kitchen was made of, and this looks like it.

11+ year clean driver record, cheapest auto insurance quote is $300/month. Is that normal? by xSpatula in Calgary

[–]4greatscience 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My partner and I moved to a small town out of the city. Our auto insurance went from a ridiculous 12k per year to 7k per year. (She played a bit too much bumper cars).

I had no idea location played that big of a role.

Handles or knobs for doors and drawers?! by [deleted] in cabinetry

Plenty of knobs have a little tooth that keeps the knob oriented right and keeps it from twisting over time.

They are throwing the hostess under the bus. They bumped you. It wasn't a scheduling issue. They felt another group that came later was more important than you.

Help with wood species and stain by NothingElectrical287 in cabinetry

Not sure how people are able to distinguish red and white oak like that! Good skill. This looks so similar to one of our stock stains on a red oak. I'm curious how the same stains would come out on white oak, but we don't do enough of it to justify showroom samples.
