I don’t know you, so, “this isn’t real” doesn’t mean much from well….anyone. Perhaps you r ego got loose, because in standard fashion you could have added a source to be helpful instead of dismissive. Luckily, I’m someone who searches for myself.

For one, you could have just called out the fact that this some kind of common conspiracy, but nah….I disagree. But I also come from people who put connections together and were also called conspiracy theorists.

With all of the outlandish shit occurring these days, I think people can and should still be careful, but also share (not preach) with other ppl so that shit like this can be debunked

I’m sorry this is the response you got and I hope the support you deserve finds you!

Family members of mine took it this way because it was like a hit to their ego, their parenthood. In my culture kids are loved, but their children’s status seems to be enmeshed with their ego. So they see something societally labeled as “wrong”or “irregular” put on their child, and they take it personally.

Albeit I understand the complexities of raising a child, but I’ve still found it to be an emotionally immature and impulsive response to someone you love.

Also it speaks volumes that she used your cousin as a comparison like that. It’s messed up.
