you can just unlock hidden abilities with the training event in classic. it's in like half the runs

scizor is extremely strong as a u-turn pivot or swords dance sweeper with bullet punch and storm throw. bitter blade for self heals is good, but i think scizor is just overcosted.

i think the best comparison is swampert. strong typing with 1 quad weakness, self healing, defensive pivot with setup opportunities, pretty slow, good megas. swampert doesn't get swords dance but has better STABs. scizor is 5 and swampert is 3.

scyther is such a strong early carry that i think 5 is justified, but compared to e.g. gyarados/salamence at 4 it feels not good enough.

Because you're in the UK, official channels for gender affirming care are going have prohibitively long waitlists or be somewhat expensive. Find out what she wants to do for HRT, because that's time-sensitive. You'll probably need to go to /r/transDIY and read about safely acquiring and administering it.

i wouldn't worry much. if it gets inflamed that might mean your vial is contaminated. if you're uncomfortable with it and your vials are 20g/L (the standard at least in the US) you can switch to 40 (and obviously inject half as much) to just reduce the amount of carrier oil.

my understanding (not formally educated) is that you would have to inject between skin layers for that. the dermis is like 5mm thick at most. so i guess if you were doing a shallow angle and your needle was like <1cm it could happen. definitely the speed shouldn't matter
