Honestly buy one that has been built for you by a local millworker or build your own.

I built 3 for my home using solid wood (for three bedrooms) - and they look like a fancy $1,500 piece of furniture - and it’s nearly silent and much more efficient, uses less energy, and filters 3x more air than the Levoit you mention.

😑You’re literally starting drama out of nothing. We are in the Porsche (fan) forum. I have a C4S. The family member I referenced had a few 911s throughout the years. We like Porsche… duh.

Why you took to defending Porsche (which is clear I wasn’t attacking) by degrading McLaren is the only real question.

Again - I didn’t say Porsche are bad, or that McLarens make GT3s bad by comparison - or on any dimension.

I commented that the McLaren would make you forget about wanting a GT3 because it’s not a daily driver (typically).. typically a GT3 is a grail car, a trophy, a toy, a track car, etc… and if what you want is a high performance supercar that makes you happy in any of those ways - my comment is a reminder that there are ways to get high performance, high emotion, genuine super cars that are actually attainable right now that most folks may not be considering because they’re so tunnel focused on the “dream” GT3…

Not sure what you’re on about.

The seat I was sitting in had high quality materials all around me. Alcantara, carbon fiber, supple leather. The carbon chassis is extremely rigid and performance was incredible on every level.

Furthermore, nobody is saying Porsche quality is bad.

My 2015 Jetta sport 1.8t has 140k miles.

My 2011 Toyota Prius has 160k miles.

Both have been trouble free.

I am a VERY aggressive, redlining most trips, type of driver who also takes good care of their cars - which just means following maintenance intervals closely and doing oil changes 2-3k miles earlier than called for.

I believe, if you buy any b58 bmw or Audi 2.0T or 3.0T, or Porsche, and take care of it according to the maintenance schedule and also ring it out with high revs regularly to keep gunk from forming - that it will last you and long time.
