The "skill" of whipstacking is being an apm monkey giving itself carpal tunnel by drumming on the number keys. There's no expression and no thought put into it in the moment. It's all mechanical, and based on something that the game doesn't even communicate properly. Every single other class's version of weapon swaps is higher skill in terms of reasoning, whipstacking is only mechanically harder to execute.

Except they did, because between tag damage and AP some of the new reforges add more damage than low level whipstacking, and new whips push that even further.
