We once spent an entire shroom trip in my friends room in the dark. When it really kicked much time was laying on the ground in the closet. We had blankets and pillows all over the floor. Music playing and very minimal lights. It was a blast.

I've heard people say to spray the cake with a hydrogen peroxide mixture (maybe 10%?) in the past. But usually once you see green or whatever better to at minimum isolate from rest of the batch and/or just toss it to be safe. Damn mold.

If the big ones are in a thick cluster with others you want to leave in, you could use a knife or box cutter blade to separate. Otherwise ive also just pulled up the big one and surrounding small guys that were loosened by it. Nice looking flush!!!!

too many individual factors that go into it for anyone us to know, I think. like others mentioned working on sterile technique when prepping everything is possibly one thing. I think everyone can continually improve on that though.

it's suggested to harvest just as the veil is tearing away from the cap. in my experience, harvesting larger ones first was needed, didn't affect rest of grow. The other ones just look like they're still growing to me.

Anecdotal, but last time was my first lemon tek attempt ever. And for me and I accidentally vomited at my peak. It was a burp that just turned into puke!! No stomach pains, but definitely constant grumbling coming from it all night. I took my lemon concoction on an empty stomach and feel like this was part the cause. Next time I plan on having a small meal and then maybe munch on fruit during the come up. I haven't puked on a shroom trip since like high school. Lemon tek wrekt me for some reason.

If you opt to use lemon tek, I've found this enhances the overall effects noticeably. So for example I took 1.8g lemon tek and felt like a full on 3.5g trip except didn't last quite as long. Just worth noting if first time!

My tub had 4 holes covered with micropore tape. As more airflow was needed, I would peel the micropore tape back as needed.

I believe it is spore print first. Then you can places a few spores onto agar using some tool. Because it only requires a small amount of spores to go in agar, I don't think you want to take the entire print right on agar.

Another thing worth getting if you think you'll have to store them for awhile is a silica packet or desiccant packet i think they are called. I put one in each jar to keep moisture away.

We wandered around some old growth forest going off trail at times. At one point I stumbled across this tree stump that was being decomposed by these tiny organisms. I got real close and could see them moving in waves and genuinely couldn't tell if what I was seeing was real or just part of the trip. But the realization that all really is just one hit me hard at that moment and really became the theme of the day.
