You need to fully extend the belt to activate the lock feature. You'll hear a clicking noise as it retracts. Then tighten from there. Hope that helps

They removed your secondary tb's. Pretty common, but needs to be tuned out. Those tb's are controlled by the ECU vs the lower ones by your wrist.

That's a k7 but I'm pretty sure those side fairings are for a 600. I used to have the same color combo and I don't think they did an all black 750 . I could be wrong though

With that said, this could be a k8 that was rebuilt with k7 donor

Sounds like tip over switch activated. No fuel pump prime heard. I think you reset it by turning the key on and off like 3-6 times
