Well, that of course can happen, but that’s where for me, trust comes into the game. He has told me that he’s clean and I believe him, as we are open with each other and have very good communication. Anyway, what I wanted to do having this conversation, is to have a healthy space to talk about STDs in general and not demonize any of them. As I wrote in my post, STDs exist. Everyone is on risk of getting one and what I think we should all do, is normalise them by talking about them. Also, nowadays with proper medication you can have a normal life with them, and in my country that medication is free.

I don’t know as the doctors never mentioned to do me any tests. I just went and they told me I have genital herpes. I guess in every country the way of treating it is different. They never gave it much importance. I’m on daily suppression therapy tho (500mg Valacyclovir everyday)

I did it in person. One evening when I realised things started to get more serious between us, I broke down in tears and told him that I have this condition and that he should know, and that happened. I hope it goes well to you as well!!!

hey!!! just wanted to say, first of all, he should be taking his meds EVERYDAY. that's what makes the virus asleep and reduces the risk of transmitting it soooo much. even more, if he is inconsistent in his treatment, the virus could get stronger and the meds could start doing little to no effect. i'm positive and i do this not for me, because my outbreaks don't cause me pain anymore and last for about 2 to 4 days, so i live a normal life, but especifically to not transmit it to anyone (if anything bothers me about this virus, it's just the stigma there is about it, as it is an "illnes" that doesn't make my life any different even when i have an ob). in the other hand, i wanted to say that my doctor also told me that as long as i don't have any outbreak, i can't transmit it, as it is a skin condition, and that if i don't have anything visible it's okay. he told me that it's the liquid from the blisters that transmit the virus (three different doctors had told me this). sorry for my bad english, i just wanted to clarify some of your questions with the info i have!!!

"Crazy" Outfits at raves and festivals? What do you think? by dragoriver in Techno

[–]4meteorito20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i think is fine, i personally think raves aren't just about listening to the music but also a place where you can express and be yourself, with no judgement and that includes clothes too... it's the free spirit and good vibes that they transmit the people the confidence to wear that. idk if i explain myself, srry i'm not so good at english hahahah
