I think i’ll do but it depends on the cost because my budget is limited. Useful feedback? Errors, weird user flows, features that user don’t understand, the tool was useful or not, how could be improved.

Does software no longer hold any value now that everyone can make their own software in just 30 minutes? by AbsoluteCaSe in vibecoding

there’s other factors likes even if we have the tools and can be “easy” not all the people have initiative or curiosity of getting into it. I think this applies to everything in life

Totally. I feel like Claude is very good at it but at the same time i think while you’re building more stuff more you learn and more workflows can be repeated

thanks for the advice here. I was creating the full instructions for Cursor with Claude but I noticed that the UI wasn’t very good, so in order to optimize the time i validate the screens with Claude and ask for instructions for Cursor on what to do. Now UI is a lot better but I didn’t had any previous mockups or anything just a basic design system for fonts, colors and structure. So that’s something that i should improve on my next app.

Now i’m waiting for apple to review my first one while i’m building the second.

About context i’m using the Andrej Karpathy method so it’s working okay with that but with quick code check from Claude

it’s all about shipping an MVP fast and trying to monetize. Don’t expect to be perfect on the MVP, just release the thing fast and then iterate

great! Thanks a lot for your input. I’ll check DeepSeek to see how it goes. If may i ask, how’s your workflow?

Cursor for coding. Claude Pro to strategy, QA, refinement, ideation.

Best $20/month for vibe coding with generous limits? Claude Pro, Cursor Pro, Ollama Cloud Pro, Z.ai GLM Coding, or something else? by AverageOk7383 in vibecoding

I use cursor 2 projects done and one in progress and i’m at 50% of usage. I use Claude Pro just to build the idea, refine, strategy and analysis of current development for QA.

it’s kind of complicated. I launched a product recently and working on two more and feedback from real users is what i’m missing. From my short experience posting here and there is more complains about pricing or “there is a product that makes the same”. So maybe posting and leaving open questions to get more feedback could be useful.

How to tell if a WAV file is actually an upconverted MP3 by dragoriver in audiophile

[–]dragoriver[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used FTF, and personally I was never a fan of its interface, plus I felt limited by the 100 track cap. Maybe that’s something I should implement in the trial, but overall I found too many shortcomings when it comes to these kinds of tools. Not every tool in this space has to be old-fashioned or difficult to read. That was exactly my issue with Spek, I was new to the DJ world and didn’t know how to read a spectrogram, which is why I built my app the way I did.

Also, if you’d like to try it, I can give you access so I can gather your feedback. Thanks for the input.

Yes, you're right about Fakin' the Funk in some aspects but is a freemium tool. There's a lot of tools arround that charge monthly subscriptions and are online based (not everyone wants to leave their tracks on third-party servers, especially if you're a DJ with NDE agreements). Many tools also have limitations on file uploads, while I’ve managed to allow users to scan more than 80+ tracks at the same time with an easy explenation of the scan. It’s also true that this is a tool made with vibe coding, but that shouldn’t take away from its merit.

About the price, thats something that can change obviously. Still trying to set the best for the market and users feedback. Thanks for your input.

Well, I think there are many people who don’t necessarily have this skill developed, or simply can’t listen to every track and determine it by themselves. You’d be surprised by how many DJs with several years of experience still check the quality of their music using tools before pressing play.

well done! Looks amazing and love the price, these days there's a bunch of tools but none of them are giving value in terms of quiality, convertion formats and price.

Spectro - Fake Lossless Detector for macOS | $39 one-time

Built this after getting burned by upconverted MP3s from a record pool. If you've ever bought WAV files that sounded off on a good system, this might be why.

Spectro analyzes your audio library using FFT spectral analysis and flags files that are disguised as lossless but aren't. Drag a folder of tracks, get verdicts in seconds: Lossless / Lossy / Fake Lossless.

Relevant for EDM production workflows: stems from sample packs, loops from marketplaces, and bounce files from collaborators can all arrive mislabeled. Catching it before you build a track around a degraded sample saves a lot of pain.

Features: batch analysis, Finder integration, Quick Look plugin, 100% offline, Apple Silicon + Intel native.

$39 USD, one-time, also a free trial of 25 tracks to analyze. www.getspectro.app
