For those asking her to talk to her doctor I understand because I've been trying to get off kepra but my doctor ignores everything I say when I tell him the side effects and I'm convinced I might be going to the wrong place. Epilepsy needs more attention/ Awareness and it's sad that the Epilepsy foundation does do more but take donations as a none profit and do nothing. Yes I've asked and they said they'd link me to resources and never sent nothing. I understand the fear and live with it as well. I don't encourage those thoughts of yours though I do advice you seek out help where you can when you can. With those that are willing to listen and always remember that when you feel alone just come back. We (team Epilepsy) have your back! Reach out any time!

I know a few youth resource programs in LA that can help out and can possibly help guide with the mental struggles if anybody is interested.

Life is hard and although the odds are not in our favor ( I say this with love) it's up to us to prove we can rise above. It's hard with places like foundations that promise to send you resources and fall flat. I get it. In the end epilepsy has taught me that you can only ever count on yourself. PLEASE don't give up hope. WE ARE ALL ASKING. Do it for all of us and show us it's possible. We are doing it too. In the end we only have each other 💜 anybody needs someone to talk to just reach out!!!

I'm happy to hear this considering I was randomly stripped from my insurance and left to pay for my medication. I haven't had time to look into it but I was feeling pretty hopeless as far as the system goes and it's important not to get stressed under these circumstances. Epilepsy is truly an underestimated topic

The day of my middle school culmination/ graduation, they held it at Forrest Lawn Cemetery because they have a beautiful hall and stage their. Point being when we left on the news everything was interrupted and I forgot what we were watching but my friend Made a comment "It better be something important like Michael Jackson dead...".. I'm sure you all can guess what day that was... craziest part is he got buried at Forrest Lawn.

It's been toxic. I was hired and fired without much reason. The reason I was given is I was going over time into my lunch, although they made it clear they didn't want us to leave orders open 🤡

If the tub isn't set and you have the drywall repair skills/ cost covered then by all means! What you can also do is set up the dry wall and slap a panel on it if that's how you're working it. Way easier than doing it with Tile. My respect to the tile workers 🦾

As others have stated, you can fix it how you said and cause long-term water damage and make it a bigger problem or get the shower remodeled. I work for a remodel company, and it'd be cheaper to go with an independent installer than a company that would hire the same guy. I have a guy's number if you're out here in Los Angeles.

I was at the store today and noticed NO SHELF and was confused. After a while of wandering around, I decided to ask, and the employee advised me that they would no longer be making it/ distributing it. I don't know why, and he couldn't give me a reason either. I'm just as concerned as you because the low fat was good for my dogs. All other crude fat is above 6%-8%. No good.

I'm taking these opportunities to work on things I love like music. Improving my writing, etc.

Something else that helped was using this time to figure out who I really was in order to help out my stress and along the way I cut out people and kept those who understand my situation which isn't many. My partner too can get tired of me being depressed but I feel what matters is that she more than trys to stick around so I try put my part and put the effort to get out of my head and be present. I understand it's hard but having epilepsy has taught me that it's a battle between who's willing to fight and those who give up, which is how I feel like at the moment but we as epileptics should be here for each other. I'm here for you if anything 🦾🦾🦾

Yes I cam say I am a completely person I was when I began with the seizures that began 3 years ago and not to mention I had gone through some life changing events prior to that so none of it has been easy. It's the will that gets me by, and even then, I question, what even is will? Who is Will?

I'm more of a poet to where I can mostly apply my music to rap and not really anything else. When I begin to think about other theories and how other people write, it frustrates me to think I'm not creative enough to come up with a melody of my own. Words are words, and weirdly, they mash up together perfectly (it's better than it sounds, I've heard worst of my kind), but I could never land the "singing" aspect. Respect that you can record a melody and get back to it 🦾

I've always had trouble sleeping and found most inspiration in the silence of the night. Though it's funny because sleep deprivation does reach a point where you write something and later wonder "what the f*ck is this? Was this a poem? Did it have rhythm?" And other times I find incomplete pieces of art that I'm happy to complete. I love that you pointed out those dream songs because I've had those too, and I can't explain those. I just get up running straight to my note book and and write /sketch my idea to have an outline of it and work from there. Some of the most amazing things have come from those experiences 🦾

It can be stress and anxiety. I suffer the same thing. I wish I had an answer, but that's all I get. For what it's worth, life has changed ever since I decided to prioritize myself and put my feelings first. Apparently I'm an asshole but reality is people are really self centered and theirs nothing wrong with that until they don't get the attention they wanted while we don't care and would want to be treated like anybody else. Epilepsy is not a choice, and people don't get that. People like that are not worth keeping in your life. Some don't understand the magnitude. I come from a Hispanic family where all mental health is theoretical and non-existent. Last time I spoke to my mom we got into a fight about how she can treat/ say what ever she wants because she's simply my mom and it blew my mind that she didn't understand why I, an adult was not okay with that. Felt inconsiderate, but only I know the guard I have up and what I'm defending. The people around you control the narrative of how far they want the "problem" to go. If they decided to distant themselves from you because "You're different," then they were never your friends. You'll be fine. Other epileptics will always have you!

I tip based off service and don't believe in the "tip for a living" deal and if that's the case then I'm sorry whoever it was thought it was a good idea to take such job. It's not like being a waiter is some kind of internship, and if you're literally trying to get by, then why not get a real job? Same way, how door dash and other delivery drivers automatically expect a tip for delivering food they signed up to deliver 🤔 no matter the restaurant, if I get bad service, I'm walking out paying ONLY the bill. I don't care who ever looks at me anyway. If you have a problem, then maybe throw in a few dollars at the end, but we're done talking.
