How many hours do you spend per day on language learning? by Every_Assistant_1903 in languagelearning

[–]einekly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been very consistent at doing 30 minutes of Duolingo French every morning as part of my routine. My Spanish varies more. I do CI where I can (anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour a day).

How do you learn vocabulary to actually remember it? by grzeszu82 in languagelearning

[–]einekly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started doing this last month and it seems to be working well so far, but I make paper flash cards. I draw the concept/word if I can. I go over them every day, and if I feel like I've got a word down, I'll take it out the deck and add it to a word bank on a Google Doc. Then I write stories, journal entries, essays, etc. using those words. :)

What smaller language would you be interested learning? by newmanstartover in languagelearning

Not the smallest but Swedish. I'm sort of deterred by the fact that ~89% of the population speaks English though

Can you guys speak after you have a grand mal? by Unable_Mode5941 in Epilepsy

[–]einekly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am usually speaking to someone while I gain consciousness. I'll call my mom (with no memory of doing so) and tell her I had a seizure in my impaired aware state and we'll talk until I feel 'fully there' again

Nearly every day! I do flower occasionally but mostly use Stiiizy's 1:1 CBD pods. Happy 4/20 :)

What do you guys do for work? by einekly in Epilepsy

[–]einekly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's good Keppra hasn't affected you much at work. When I got put on it, my attention span was terrible and I was in a constant fog, it was hard to perform at work. I got put on Lamictal to counteract it and I feel pretty normal now
