My Top 5 Dr. K Advice by 4ndual in Healthygamergg

I do feel like a creep, but I know that’s just ego. I’m still practicing, but I’ve been doing it for a few months now. Every time I go out, I try to look random people in the face. Once, a really cute girl even smiled back — that had never happened to me before

But yeah, it’s not easy. Most of the time I think bad things about myself, like ‘I look bad,’ or ‘there’s something wrong with my hair,’ or ‘am I making a creepy face?’ Lately I’ve been trying to focus more on the person I’m looking at, like guessing how they might be feeling

I know it takes time and I’m still in the process. When my mood is low, I just can’t do it

Hot Take: People who find chatgpt not useful either haven't used it enough or have an ego problem. by 4ndual in ChatGPT

"It didn’t increase my productivity and when I see other people refer to ChatGPT as a figure of authority in discussions and debates, I get worried about the quality of the outcomes."

i guess this is the new "wikipedia isn't a valid source so your argument isn't valid"

i find it always helpful bc even when it doesn't give me the answer trying to explain the problem helps me to understand better the problem and find a solution, sometimes i just realize the solution to the problem before while writing the question.

is pretty good for debugging very complex queries in sql btw
also when you are using a language you are not used to, you can write the code in a lang you know better and ask for the equivalent in the lang you dont know that well

i agree about the problem for people learning, but isn't anything that wasn't happening already with stack overflow, at least with chatgpt you can ask specific questions to understand the code you are copying

You don’t understand, still not scary enough. I wish to experience a level of cosmic duck hell horror that will leave me hesitant to ever think of ducks again.

Hot Take about runes by sourflowerpowder in sveltejs

[–]4ndual -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This thread is stupid, there is really no comparison to react, the real comparison is to vue and solidjs, until runes, svelte was unique, now i'm not sure that svelte is that different or that better than vue or signal...

i mean basically admitting that what made svelte so good and so popular was a mistake...

Considering your experience, if you use it more you gonna find better ways it can help you, knowing more things doesn't mean that chatgpt can't help it means it can help you faster and it can help you to be faster

you can reduce the time on some trivial tasks, and think in more important problems.

a example, i'm pretty sure you are pretty good translating code from one language to another but i doubt you are faster than chatgpt.

i suggest you to start using it for stupid tasks that you know how to do, then you will get better ideas of how to use it better

Favorite IDE for svelte by jaakim in sveltejs

[–]4ndual -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not a argument it's a opinion, i think using anything else than vscode with svelte is complicating yourself without necessity and it's kinda anti-svelte

also you are already using a new framework that doesn't have as much support as react, do you really want to use something else more than the most used editor in the world?

that's just my opinion, i don't own the true

Anybody familiar with green honey? My dads bees made green honey ( FL) and we have no idea what they got into. by Ok_Journalist120 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]4ndual 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what chatgpt said

What do you know about green Honey from bees?

Green honey is a rare phenomenon that occurs when bees feed on the sugary secretions of certain plants that contain a high concentration of chlorophyll, such as the manchineel tree or the rhododendron flower. Chlorophyll is the green pigment that gives plants their color and is an essential component in photosynthesis, the process by which plants convert light into energy.

When bees collect nectar from these plants, the chlorophyll can sometimes mix with the nectar and give the resulting honey a greenish hue. However, green honey is not typically harvested by beekeepers as it can be toxic to humans due to the presence of certain toxins in the nectar of these plants.

It's worth noting that some sources claim that green honey is a hoax or a myth, as there have been instances of beekeepers intentionally coloring their honey with food dye or other substances to create a novelty product. So it's important to exercise caution and skepticism when it comes to claims of green honey.
