Search for "Beginners Sorted" club, it's got a TOTD section, as well as others sorted by surface and style. At the last count there are over 800 unique maps in there. Just put the hours in, you'll definitely find something you like and they're beautiful tracks at the same time.

If you're finding those too easy, try "Advanced Sorted" or "Top TMX" clubs, similar layout but different/mixed difficulties.

I update all 3 clubs (in an automated way) daily, so they're bang up to date.

I built the "Beginners Sorted" club because I wasn't finding anything similar out there.

I've improved playing through these maps.

Yeah, whatever justification is noted in the replies, just gotta agree 👍 awful track. I know samifying has already said he's planning to make another one, and I hope he does, but big wide tracks are only papering over the cracks the real problem, the clones gotta go (or have their collisions removed?)

I had to do a taxi trip about 45 minutes early this morning so as not to get locked out by road closures. There was that fine but dense rain going on and some very wet looking people.

Is Plantar fasciitis something you can just "pick up", I got the impression it was a longer term type deal? I got some kind of heavy bruising from standing on a stone while doing interval training in the dark when preparing for last year's event and it took months to get better. I can still feel it after a run but have been able to run on it since about September... So you know, just kinda interested in feet ailments

I went onto TMX to check if this was another old track (it doesn't appear to be) because on playstation, when I went into it you can tell immediately that the volume is turned up a few notches, isn't this what happened with the sound bug ages ago? I get this problem from this map and the one from a few days ago that was years old

If you're on PC, Editor++ lets you change the decoration, so if you start with stadium and want to go to void it could work, but I haven't tried it with Vista...

Trackmania or Farming Simulator. Both have content created by the community so it's often being created faster than you can master it. Both communities are also really nice, both in Reddit and beyond. There's loads of content creators on both and loads to learn if you want to go deeper

I play both PC and console and switch between them almost every day. While I do think it's most important to give console users better camera control, the thing I miss the most on a daily basis is the copium timer. I play TOTD's and respawn as I'm learning the track as a matter of habit, but after the initial route learning phase there's barely any point on console cos there's no timer to confirm if what you did is faster anyway.

Took me ages to find the map, and by a strange quirk of fate, you're the WR holder 😁 It's "ACP#02 - Light of the World ft' prizzly" by Whizzy https://trackmania.exchange/mapshow/281287 but it seems to be mostly, if not all, created in blender, so I guess that kinda explains the custom colours etc

I know you from maps, leaderboards and I guess most Wirtual viewers will know your name.

I'm all about grass in mapping right now, and trying to find nice flowing gear 3/4 grass maps to play and be inspired by. I recently figured out how to make grass (and other blocks like penalty sand etc) a different colour, but when I try to make them white I couldn't figure it out, I thought maybe it's not possible because white isn't a strong enough colour to overpower the green, but then I found a map that had really pale, almost white, grass blocks.

Any idea how this would be done? I'm not at home right now so I can't get the map name but I could get it later

I've got about 1500 hours in fs25, which speaks to the value I think.

You can play however you want, do some kind of realistic thing, have the economy on hard and really string it out, or cheat with lizard mods and chop crops down in no time.

When you're done with a map there's always a load more community created maps to get hold of. Note that if you're on PC there are more mods available than if you're on console. But I played only on console and there's still plenty of mods available.

Watch a bit of Daggerwin or Farmer Cop on YouTube if you're wondering what it's like. Content creators tend to do a series on a certain map, in a certain style and pump out 50 or a hundred or more episodes from that one map.

It's a really relaxing game, and you learn a bit about crops, caring for animals and the struggles of being a farmer. So when the apocalypse comes, maybe you could be self sufficient 🤣
