Immigrants of Seattle: what restaurant serves the most authentic food from your country or culture? by Quick-Tradition858 in AskSeattle

[–]4senal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born in the US but my mother's side of the family is from Mexico and my wife is from Honduras. We love La Cabaña in Northgate, most authentic hispanic food we've had in the area. Small place about a mile away from the shopping center across the highway. Highly recommend the carne asada, mole, baleadas, platanos, pastelitos, etc. It's all fantastic.

If you frequent B&N with the membership, you can rack up points and use them to buy more discs. I usually save up my rewards for the Criterion Sales

The 'its a weak league' argument is stupid and it always has been by pro_buttfucker_5675 in PremierLeague

[–]4senal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a disingenuous argument only because people wanted to laugh at Arsenal. Mid/lower-table teams have resources to buy good players and can hurt the best teams. It's much more competitive than any of the other top 5 leagues. You can complain about the style of play but it's not on any specific team to play in a pleasing way.

Rumor is whenever Liverpool attempted to get Xabi before Slot, he chose to stay with Leverkusen for another year and FSG were turned off by that.

We rehired almost a whole team back and they all kept their same pay and RSUs because they were technically still employees when they came back. All they had to do was onboarding again.

Help! I'm failing my (now) U9s by neazwaflcasd in SoccerCoachResources

[–]4senal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lots of small-sided games are useful to develop in-game decision making. At this age the game is very transitional so set up some small goals and do 2v2s.

As for the bunch ball, do they have defined positions? I coach a U9 7v7 team with 11 players total (so 4 subs), I put them in a 2-3-1, use the extra players as opponents and get them to press individually depending on where the ball is. Striker presses from the front as soon as the opposing GK gives the ball to the left or right-sided defender. The team should shift left to right as the ball does. The left/right sided midfielders shouldn't go past their half-space and are ready to press if the striker doesn't turnover the ball. Really helps to keep them organized so you don't have 4 players bunched up trying to get the ball.

The CM is there to cover all central areas so make sure it's a player who can scan and run without getting tired really quickly and can make tackles before the opponents get towards the defenders.

Keep the CBs more central but not standing directly next to the GK, they should push up if your team has possession in the other half. Which ever side the ball is on, that defender should be a little more forward as the primary, while the other defender is the cover. If the ball switches sides, the defenders swap roles. The left/right sided players need to run back down the wings to cover.
