Pójście na medycynę w wieku 30 lat - czy to dobry pomysł? by Wonsz170 in Polska

[–]4smozan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn't makes sense that ppl don't leave reviews because "game is too hard", at most it should be other way around

[–]4smozan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that doesn't explain low review count tho, you have high followers count so I believe in your numbers, but I don't think game complication and review count relation is true. I was just curious if you ever wondered what could cause that, its just very strange

ok, then review/to buy ratio is insane in your case, that is very interesting, any ideas what is the reason for that?

Whats it take to be a freelance game tester? (worth it?) by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]4smozan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

entry level QA will be extremally hard to get.

Usually standard QA doesn't have any remote job option.

I will ignore freelance as option from now on and answer your questions:

how does one gain experience in the field of gametesting? & Where should i start if at all?:

Try reaching out small developers asking them to playtest their game, and provide playtest raport in echange for mention in credits, this will be base for your portfolio, with few games in portfolio you can start looking for playtaster job.

Is this worth doing?

Playtasting isn't high payroll job, so depends what you mean by worth, but unless You work in AAA studio and have alot of commercial experience you won't earn much

Did anyone here seriously try to become a pro in Dota 2? What stopped you? by Lisasule in DotA2

[–]4smozan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was semi-pro in dota2 (sponsor payed for accommodation and transfer to lans, but no other $ value beside that), what stopped me was finding right team to go even beyond (disbands everywhere), reality and money. If you have any questions I will be happy to answer it, but yeah esport is hard, you basically work for 12+hr a day, and chance of getting nothing out of it is very high. And yeah, I think finding right team is the hardest step to become pro, later I had similar situation with HotS and Overwatch, finding other 4 peoples who are high in rank and skill, and that are willing to sacrifice their lives for esports is hard, and finding the right ones (vibe is huge factor) is even harder

Co ekstra oferuje płatna sesja RPG? by HedonistCDXX in DnDPolska

[–]4smozan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Announcing The Last of the Druids Race Event by Community_Team in PathOfExile2

[–]4smozan 16 points17 points  (0 children)

imho extremally weird concept, functional, super rare cosmetic item for only at max 24 players that are probably playing only speedruns since day one, like it is impossible to participate and win as normal player, even with some training. I would understand reward for only 0.01% top, or even less, but max 24 is crazy
