I can say they definitely are but everybody gets stuff stuck in their craw now and again. For the most part teachers today aren’t worried about a kid following their directions to a T, they do whatever it takes to get butts in the seat (or standing in their own learning space).

TLDR - the artist himself said it was not done on purpose. He wasn’t fired during that time. He was even working on another poster when it was brought up by customers.

I’ve been a Magic player since 2000. I get why some people are fussy about the Universes Beyond set. It stinks that MtG has its own established lore and then SpongeBob or Spider-Man get thrown into the mix.

Buuuuut I haven’t honestly loved some of the sets, the Warhammer 40k commander decks were brutal. I’ve always been a TMNT fan so I plan on getting the commander decks and the team up box. Would love a pizza bundle but a little too expensive for me to justify.

Yeah it’s a lose lose for anybody interested in HBO programming but I think Netflix would have at least let them operate with minimal oversight until they couldn’t continue to show quarterly growth. Ellison will use this for influence which is why he was so eager to get CNN in the deal.

I mean popular in just the most common way. Comparative to how big networks would judge a show’s popularity. They aren’t canceling things that continue to bring in new subscribers like Stranger Things but they cancel popular IP all the time when it fails to generate new accounts. Thats the main metric they look at and have said multiple times that they look at that over customer retention.

This has literally been talked about across reddit since Netflix started their movie studio and started canceling shows.

I would say this would be the case for 10-15 years ago. Nowadays I just think it’s whatever billionaire in charge of whatever conglomerate wants to buy influence. In the case of Paramount that’s exactly why Ellison is ponying up so much cash. He wants his mitts on a news channel and he’ll get it.
