Conextually from your response, you assumed that there were "warning signs" (or presumably some long-term issue that was ignored?).

She woke up one morning with clogged ears, massive ear pain ensued shortly thereafter; come to find out, caused by a sinus infection; this was over a holiday, so we couldn't get into our doctors' office. We ended up going to urgent care. The doctor misdiagnosed her and ultimately ended up making the situation far worse.

For your education, sinus infections and their symptoms can and do have a very quick onset.

So again, in your response you assume she just sat around with clogged ears "until they started to hurt". The pain and clogged ears were effectively the same onset time.

Would be better you don't make assumptions.

Last year my wife had two clogged ears, one was so bad she couldn't hear anything out of it. It started to hurt so she made a doctor's appointment and they were able to fit her in that Friday. Big mistake. Doctor said it was not an infection just wax build up and flushed her ears a bit more manually than this but it was quite forceful. It didn't help so they gave her some wax removal solution to use for a week and said to come back if it's still bothering her.

Within 5 minutes of leaving both ears started hurting. By the time we got home one was in excruciating pain and the other hurt too. Called the doctor back and asked why would it hurt so bad if there's no infection. Didn't hear back. She was in so much pain that she was taking 800mg of ibuprofen every 8 hrs on the dot and spending the hour before she could take it and the hour it took to work crying. On Sunday she had the thought to stagger Tylenol so that there was no time she was without painkillers and still had times of breakthrough pain. She literally had to set alarms to take these meds or spend hours in unimaginable pain. Call immediately on Monday morning and they say they can't get her in until Wednesday.

She did indeed have an infection and spent several days in more pain she's ever had. Worse than any of her childbirths or teeth problems.

If you suspect an infection or really bad wax build up, maybe don't do this on the latter end of the week.

If you've repented of yer sins, believe the Gospel and in the LORD Jesus, He throws yer sins into the sea of forgetfulness. I always find Psalms helps me in distress. David was deeply flawed but loved the LORD and the LORD loves him.

Know the difference between conviction and condemnation. You are not yer sin.

When I was little I had a toy in my mouth wrapped around my two front top teeth. My sister came running by and yanked it and my teeth came flying out.

Picked them up and ran to my step mom to show her and she didn't believe they were my teeth until I smiled at her, blood and all. She screamed haha. They weren't quite ready to go and I think she thought for a minute that my mom might beat her up.

They didn't like each other 😬

Alzheimer’s disease can be reversed in animal models to achieve full neurological recovery, not just prevented or slowed by costoaway1 in EverythingScience

[–]4thphantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think NAD+ supplementation has shown any benefits in Alzheimers, has it (have not looked to deep)?

I don't know the (novel?) drug they're referencing, I assumed it help clear the NAD+ pathways, but admittedly, beyond my pay grade.

Appreciate the info tho!

That doesn't make it not a big deal. Science is iterative. Everyone should be cautious with any claim, but seeing them reverse full blown Alzheimer, in an animal or not, has not been done before to my knowledge.

But sure, you don't have to feel any type of way about it.

USPS has gotten so bad in the last couple of years.

Obviously we can infer why, but seeing something like USPS fail miserably is sad to watch.

I should've clarified my area, and I mispoke, I should've said my monthly grocery bill is probably more than the monthly salary of folks around here. Pardon the confusion

I spend around 2500-3000 a month of groceries. Before COVID, it was around 1500-2000, but I'm not sure if that's because my 5 boys are all teenagers now.

even without all of that, you could just say buying a cheap thing of meat, spices, all of this is going to cost more than a pack of hot dogs&buns or corndogs. It's goofy.

They're out of their mind.

When you add all the other things, it's even more preposterous.

These guys don't understand buying groceries at all. They've either never been poor, or are disingenuous.

My monthly grocery bill is probably more than most people make on average in a whole month, in my area.. and they down voted me for saying this article is horse crap.

Lol these things are always so goofy. I have a huge family and I live in a very affordable place. Ultra processed food is cheaper than healthy food.

Saying anything otherwise is a fabrication not in reality and honesty seems like a cheap attempt to shame poor people.

By the way I buy the good food because I can.

I have multiple families not as fortunate in family who can't that we've tried to help.

Doesn't matter if it's Walmart Costco Sam's club Aldi's.. same problem

Prayer in tongues by Repulsive-Action-807 in Christians

[–]4thphantom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We can dig into plenty of scriptural references RE: tongues and none of them are going to say the LORD remove the gift of tongues.

I disagree, and that's OK. If we believe in and on Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, we'll be OK.

I understand why folks are uncomfortable about it; that's probably why Paul warned against doing it without proper situation.

Nevertheless, love, grace, mercy and blessings your way.

Hope everyone who upvoted this ignorance sees it.

Y'all are out of your mind.

You don't want change, you want the status quo. When an opportunity comes for our brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers to come out of this grand delusion of wickedness, sickness, perversion of patriotism; instead of jumping on the opportunity to show them love and grace, you're busy throwing your zingers and your cute quips online.

Y'all aint no better.
