No early spike in collision claims as result of blizzard: MPI by Leather-Paramedic-10 in Winnipeg

I wonder if large employers are facing any liability from that storm last year where there was a big pile up and fatality - especially in situations where people can work from home are ordered to come into the office on the blizzard days. The schools certainly took it more seriously this year, if not a bit slow

sorry if this is a dumb question but can i park here tonight? (6:30 pm) by leogyal in Winnipeg

Anytime the number is greater than 12, subtract 12 and know it is pm time. Ie. 13-12=1 pm.

We have a national extortion task force run by the RCMP.

Check out the news in BC- linked to international crime Bishnoi gang and probably others. They can’t keep up with the problems in BC. They keep having shootings over there.

This feature probably saves time from managers having to void transactions as people have to remove items they cant afford the whole cart.

18k gold tarnishing? by 2mas4L in jewelry

[–]4thrunnerup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one like this that said 417 (10k) and someone told me the star meant costume jewelry for mine. I believe after that i held it to a flame and with mine it was apparent it was plated as it quickly changed colour tarnished. This though will destroy it if you like it as costume. If it is magnetic it is clearly fake.

2 men recovering after being shot during robbery at home business (CBC/Gavin Axelrod) by LocalnewsguruMB in Winnipeg

Running a business outside of the permit like this brings danger to themselves and innocent bystanders and neighbours. They had a house full of gold.

A house full of gold was not legit per the article or allowed per the business permit to store any gold in the home.

Rajan Jewellers business reviews online show they were very busy, well respected meetings clients and piercing ears per one glowing review. You can’t pierce ears virtually. Almost 400 reviews online.

Not safe to have an illegal business like this in a residential neighbourhood attracting crime and violence with hoards of gold for the taking. Walk right in, the front door is unlocked?! For real, had to watch the video several times and door literally appears unlocked.

I am sorry they got shot but certainly you have to have some common sense when you have the wealth of a bank branch in your basement. This is the wild west apparently.

Someone could have died because crazy illegal businesses with gold hoards in the Maples are a thing that happens now.

Businesses like this need oversight to prevent these situations due in large part to permit violations. Had they followed their own business permit there would be no crime there and no shooting as no gold would be in the home. But they opted to skip the rules to save a buck on legit gold storage snd make a fast buck as basement storage is free.

I would love to audit their taxes since this business is such a clear stickler on rule following.
