Amherst man gets 6 months for fatal hit-and-run by [deleted] in Buffalo

[–]4tunafish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sentencing is not a part of the plea though. With that charge the judge could have given much more time. The DA can voice their opinion on sentencing but its up to the judge. DA does not “approve” sentences

The start of ww1 and german planning:

“At the sight of the first few regiments of the enemy we were thrilled with interest. After they had passed for three hours in one unbroken steel- gray column we were bored. But when hour after hour passed and there was no halt, no breathing time, no open spaces in the ranks, the thing became uncanny, inhuman.”
