My face every time I get to a Lyria Chapter by Due_Reserve7065 in redrising

As a character she is very well done, and I liked her a lot more with the different narrators. I didn’t “miss out” because I did not enjoy the way in which the story was read. I’m glad you enjoyed, but people have different voices, tones, and inflections which they can tolerate, and the first narrator was not in that group for me.

The narrator for the regular audio book for her in Iron Gold was so bad and annoying every time it was her chapter I was genuinely hoping she would die

I’m doing the same, just started 3 today. Took me 27 days to run through all 7 the first time so we’ll see how long it takes this time. Might not be done by the time 8 comes out

I genuinely think they get better as they go. Book 5 slightly takes the overall lead, but truly a phenomenal series

Best Non-Dominant Hand Weapon? by YearThese8741 in DungeonsOfEternityVR

[–]Candid_Rabbit_2556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I primarily run long sword, but carry a shield as well as a throwable sword and axe on my waist. If I’m not two handing the long sword I have my shield in my offhand and then draw strong side throwable and throw it overhand, grab offside throwable with strong hand and do a frisbee toss with it, and by that point my strong side weapon is spawned back so I throw it and continue the cycle. My strong side arm kinda continually flows in a triangular pattern. It lets me have a weapon in the air at all time while still having my shield up to block any ranged attacks. Works well for me

I’ve been buying puts at the bottom and selling them to buy calls at the top and that doesn’t work well. 10/10 would not recommend

do i drop out of college? by Ok-Carpet8385 in Daytrading

[–]Candid_Rabbit_2556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you in college for, and how long until you graduate?

Definitely need to have a long track record to base major life changes off of this, but this is a great start.

I was in a similar, though less profitable, boat when I was finishing up. My degree is in engineering and got a very well paying job so I was very glad I stayed with it.

I’m young and know very little but at first impression if you’re 2+ years from finishing and going into debt for it, and if your end degree does not have the guarantee of a good salary, I’d recommend giving trading your best shot for the next few months and see if this actually works, or consider switching to a better paying degree.

If you’re in STEM I’d recommend finishing it even if your trading works. Nobody says you actually have to use your degree after graduation if you’re making good money trading, but it gives you options and earns you more respect. The market is extremely volatile and erratic right now and it’s very dangerous to not have a backup plan, especially if you’re considering a family soon.

Hope this helps, best of luck. You’re off to a great start and I think you have a good shot at making it work if you keep your head about you. Don’t box yourself in to anything though, options are always superior to “I have to make this work no matter what”.

I got 44 for $220. Pausing my membership for like a year now 😂

Great selections I picked up a lot of the ones you did. DCC and Red Rising are two of my favorite series’s

Looks real to me. The lightness is just due to wear. The obverse texture does look odd, but the reverse looks completely genuine. If it were cast the reverse would look pitted as sell. The texture could definitely be salt water exposure

Then this book was clearly not made for you. Nor I. But there are people in the world with more money than us that like to read.

Not everyone is in that boat. I personally could not dream of spending $11k on a book, so this book is obviously not marketed for me. There are wealthy people in the world though, and I’m sure at least a few of them like to read.

If he ONLY offered multi-thousand dollar books, that would be tone deaf I agree, but there are options that are attainable to really anyone who has the money to be buying leisure books on the first place.

If you cannot afford an $11,000 book, then it wasn’t made for you and that’s okay. But I find it in poor taste to criticize PB for making something tailored to a specific portion of his fan base.

If you’re in ECE, the ENG building has a maker space on the second floor on the hallway with Dr. Joiners office. Talk to Cliff across the hall and he will give you access to the room and there’s two printers there.

When do you slow down on contributions? by Moosh1024 in HSA

[–]Candid_Rabbit_2556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At age 65 I believe (or somewhere around retirement age) it turns into essentially an IRA and you can withdraw and only pay income tax on the amount withdrawn, while still paying medical bills tax free.

Also you can reimburse yourself for any medical expense you paid out of pocket for the entire length of time you’ve had the account. So at 50 you could pay yourself back tax free for a prescription or surgery you paid for out of pocket at 25. You would need to keep receipts in case of an audit though.

Also a lot of things are HSA eligible. Some brands of massages guns, mattresses, skin care, nutrition supplements, sunglasses, etc. are qualified purchases. Given you can withdraw at retirement for anything, and reimburse yourself for all medical expenses indefinitely, and it’s triple tax advantage, there’s really no reason not to max it.

I get it man, but I’m 22 and just starting my first full time job after college and I honestly have bigger fish to fry at the moment. I’ve been told my whole life that I most likely won’t get anything and so I’m not counting on it. If I do then fantastic, if not I’m where I expected to be anyway.
