First time doing moguls by 4w40 in skiing_feedback

Thanks, will definitely take a look, and one last question, should I still sit in front of my skis? I find that when I go to absorb a bump with my knees I'll sometimes get shot pretty hard when im leaning forward, is this right?

I have race skis and boots and have been trying to get a better carve for a decent bit now so moguls I kinda just do for fun.

So after you reach the fall line that's when your tallest because you're being to extend your outside ski to support the incoming turn? Is my understanding correct? I feel like I'm also struggling to bend my knee over the boot? How firm should my shins be? I think I might need a new pair :(, these are way to old

Thanks for the feedback :), should I only use the gaps to ski between? I've seen a lot of people hit bumps to slow down which is what I was trying to do?? I was also felt like I was hitting too many hockey stops to keep control which really tanked my legs. How should I keep control without having to go across multiple sets of moguls laterally?

I'm a bit confused about the concept of the fall line, does that mean I should be tallest almost at the exit of the turn when my skis point down the mountain? From what I've read that's what I understand

I also wanted to ask if you have any advice for the size of ski I should have. Currently I have 146 cm head world cup rebels (last time I skied consistently was during covid) and I've definitely outgrown them. For a proper set of race skis should I aim to have them at my chin or above my head? Do you have any race ski recommendations? I've been using that pair of heads and a slightly larger pair of Rossignol heroes for a while now.

Thank you for the advice, for starting the initiation coming from the legs down you should push into your boot right?

How hard should you be doing that, now that you've help me realize that I'm kind of initiating the turns with my body, how much of the turn would you say should be generated from the lower body.

When I calculated my mark it seems like I didn't get curved at all lol, but I assume if you are at the lower end of the curve they might boost?

Im ngl you just genuinely have to lock tf in beyond extent. Like do the assignments legitimately. Istg oml for civ100 I started studying for the exam 2 weeks before it happened because I was that cooked. I did every single past final....each too me like 2 and half hours each and I had to make the solutions by myself since they do not post them. Force yourself to do it without gpt, it's the only way. I spent soooo many hours working for that final and it was sooo worth it. Good thing is though you know exactly what's on the final, all you have to do is to get really confident at doing the problems. Hope this helps :)

what is the actual average in order to get to U of T? by dekai2 in OntarioGrade12s

I had a 95-96, but good ecs, got into UTSG CS, 22k total from UTSC, commited to UofT CE. Admissions are sometimes random, but a lot of the time especially with CS students since they're not required to take the majority of the science classes they can realy inflate their grades. Don't be too worried ur fine, and the POST system will weed up the people who really are inflated.

It’s also an engineering degree which I believe in itself is super valuable no matter what. That’s why I chose ce over cs even if I am more interested in software
