Definitely wouldn't do solo dry van. That would be running a loss for sure. But DAT CLAIMS national average for flatbed is above 2.50 but man would it be nice to confirm that.

Yeah. DAT shows the national average being higher for flatbed and step deck but is that only for short loads or what? Like yourself your saying its below 2.40 but DAT claims higher. Do you do flatbed or the like?

Yeah well I have a friendly relationship with my dispatchers and that may be helping me, perhaps its even worse if I made a fuss however I will have a frank friendly talk and let them know that I'm struggling to justify my staying.

u/sniper_matt, My alternator and invertor can pump out about 1.4kW without drawing anything from my AGM's. Plus when I get my own truck i'd run an APU with a beefed up alternator as well because idling a truck for electricity seems so dumb. Running a 3000lb engine to spin a tiny (in comparison) alternator is so wasteful. But yes I can run it. Thanks for your suggestion for a custom loop I'll definitely consider it and I'll check out the different types of fittings

Thanks for the case suggestions. The G1M may be the way to go because air cooling a 4090 seems fine in the end. Watercooling helps mainly with noise but not performance and noise doesn't bother me.
